- ZAzelia adeotiSep 9, 20265.0OMG! Since the day Anthony rung my bell to picking up the final check, it was an amazing experience! Anthony was by my side EVERY STEP of the way. Rather it was on the phone with insurance, solar companies (detaching, attaching or check-ups), he was there. He was also checking on his guys when the roof was being torn down and reinstalled in 100 degree weather. He also checked in when gutters were being replaced. The care and accuracy and personalized attention that was given during this two months was absolutely outstanding. I can’t say enough about the professionalism that was present throughout this process. I highly recommend S&L for any care you may need for your home. Thank you Anthony/ S & L for a job well done!💜
- BLBrenda LearmanJul 26, 20265.0Steve was awesome to work with! The job was completed very timely. The crew cleaned up after themselves. Excellent work and would highly recommend.

- ESEmily Sternfeld-DunnJun 5, 20265.0Steve and crew did a wonderful job on some new facia on our almost 100 year old house. They got things done quickly, with great quality, and were affordable.
Frequently Asked Questions About Quality Exteriors
How long do Owens Corning roofs last?
Owens Corning asphalt shingles typically last 20-30 years, while metal roofing systems can exceed 50 years in Wisconsin's climate with proper installation and maintenance.
What causes ice dams in Wisconsin?
Ice dams form when heat escapes through the roof, melting snow that refreezes at eaves. Poor ventilation and inadequate attic insulation are common causes.
When should I replace my siding?
Replace siding when you notice widespread rot, warped panels, soft spots, or visible mold growth. These indicate moisture infiltration that compromises structural integrity.
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes, we provide full insurance claim assistance including damage documentation, adjuster communication, and detailed estimates to ensure all eligible repairs are covered.
What's better for Wisconsin weather - metal or asphalt?
Metal roofing sheds snow efficiently and lasts longer, while asphalt shingles offer more color options at lower cost. Both perform well when properly installed.
How do I know if hail damaged my roof?
Look for bruised or cracked shingles, exposed mat, granule loss in gutters, and damaged flashing. Professional inspection after storms documents damage for insurance purposes.
Can you match existing siding colors?
Yes, we match colors and textures using materials from Norandex, CertainTeed, and LP Smartside to ensure repairs blend seamlessly with your existing siding.
