  We had a partial basement renovation done by this company. While the work is pretty good, the overall experience was bad. The quote process seemed good and Marty is very personable. We did not meet the Forman, Doug S. Until after we signed the contract. If we had met him earlier, I would not have signed. Doug H is also part of the crew and was on the job at our place quite a bit. I had no issues with him, and the quality of work from him was very good, no complaints there. The first day of the job Doug S came in and said there was some "new code" which meant an additional drain needed to be put into the basement. It was going to end up costing roughly $8,000 more than the contract price. I asked why this wasn't put on the quote, since it was obvious there was only the drain we meant to use to install a new shower. I was told the code was new. When I asked how new, since the building codes hadn't been updated recently, Doug s admitted it just wasn't well enforced until recently. I ended up doing some of the concrete work myself to add an additional drain, as we were near the top end of our budget for the renovation already, and I still paid extra for the concrete cutting and piping, as I did not have the tools to do this myself. The second issue was with the sheet rocking. There were some instances of things being done incorrectly and not being fixed until I asked about it. Luckily, everything ended up being fixed, but if I had not asked, these things would have been left incorrect. The final issue is that we had a full body shower panel installed which does not function as intended. We were not able to test the panel prior to sign-off, as the silicone in the shower had not cured. We contacted the company right away and explained that some of the jets do not function. We were told we would have to pay a $250 fee for the plumber to come back out and look at it. By this time, we were so frustrated with how things had been going and the back and forth, that we just did not pursue it. The end quality of the work is good, but I would absolutely not hire this company.

  Chase and Joe did a really great job on our painting and insulating project, it’s easy to recommend them! Chris and Jason from the office have been easy to work with, and the projects were well done with good communication.

  Chase Brown and Joe were very helpful with a repair that thankfully turned out to be just a quick paint touch up on our skylight framing. Thanks for your prompt and friendly response.

  Chase Brown did an excellent job. Of fixing. The water stain damage in our sunroom. It was a joy to work with. Him he was efficient and timely. He did great work
