- KCKara CarterAug 5, 20261.0Highly disappointed in this company. I value small local businesses and when my AC system failed, I called on Hometown to quote my system. The quoting process was a great experience and seemed very local, friendly, and caring. And they could get my new system installed quickly. Ultimately, I had them install the new system. Now, is when things have gone downhill. After install I was never invoiced, I called asking about invoicing and warranties and was told warranty would be filed upon payment. I stated I was never invoiced and asked if I could drop a check at the local Cedarburg office, was told yes, no problem. Drove to the location only to then be told this is only a warehouse location and no one could accept payment. I then processed payment online weeks ago and still no communication on my warranty paperwork. I call and it never rings through only getting a "User Busy" message. I really feel like I fell into a bait and switch by this company. I wanted to deal with a small local company for a reason, they just care more about their customer experience. Now I have a brand-new system installed by a company that refuses to communicate with customers. Majorly disappointed.

An appointment was made without an appointment window and canceled at 2:30 PM after waiting all day for a technician. I cannot comment on whether or Not they would’ve done a good job as I will not be giving them a second chance.
