He did the inspection, told me what I should look to do to make my garage door run smoother for years to come and completed the tune-up. Although I wanted to complete all of the tasks that he mentioned, I couldn't do so at this time due to budgeting, so there was no pressure to "do this today" as some companies tend to do. He respectfully encouraged me to reach out once I was ready to move forward-which I will before the snow flies- to take care of the issues. I appreciated the honesty from start to finish as I had never dealt with A1 before.

Both times they cancelled an hour prior to the appointment for “unforeseen” circumstances. No explanation and no rescheduling. Just a text cancelling. I will not be giving them another chance.

Original review: If you have them come out, be ready to stand your ground or make them aware that you just want an estimate and you're going to shop around. They use high-pressure sales tactics including telling you that the condition of your garage door is dangerous. I asked about having them come out to do a $32 tune-up after I saw an ad. I now have a $2000 invoice to pay. I realize it's on me, but it just wasn't a pleasant experience working with these clowns. I thought I was going to have the chance to discuss it with their customer service department, but they're not returning my calls.
