Unprofessional and ridiculously amateur salespeople. We asked for a quote and they showed up at the door unannounced, and wouldn't agree to actual appointments (ie. "2pm on Tuesday"). Did not have this issue with any of the leading local HVAC companies. Their loose style might have worked in the 1950's but it's absurd that the time slots they work with are "some time in the morning" or "some time in the afternoon" for something as straightforward and scopeable like a quote. The salesman didn't introduce himself and tried to walk into my house from the rain in dirty, wet boots until he was asked to remove them. Salesman obviously did not listen to the majority of what I said when describing our needs... and after all that, their quote came in 30% higher than the other companies' quotes. Total nonstarter. I heard the company recently got bought out and this type of customer experience is now quite common, unfortunately.

I had Total Comfort Solutions come out a little over 60 days ago for a furnace maintenance appointment. During that visit, the technician told me my furnace blower and vents needed to be cleaned. I took him at his word, scheduled the work, and also signed up for their maintenance plan. Later that same week, multiple technicians came out to complete the vent cleaning and blower cleaning. They spent a long time at my house and appeared to do thorough work. I personally watched one technician remove my blower, take it out to my driveway, and hose it down. At the time, I believed the work had been done properly. About a month later, I had my first scheduled maintenance appointment under the maintenance plan. After inspecting my furnace, the technician approached me and recommended that I have my blower and vents cleaned. I was pretty surprised and asked him if he genuinely thought they needed it. He showed me photos of a dirty vent and stated my blower was dirty. I explained that I had just paid his company over $2,000 less than a month earlier to perform that exact service. The technician seemed caught off guard and went upstairs to inspect things further. When he came back down, he told me he could see brush marks in the vents, but that the cleaning “wasn’t done to his standard.” At that point, I started trying to contact someone at the company about my concerns. It took numerous calls and text messages before I finally got a response. Eventually Jesse called me back and told me he had the technician in the room with him on speakerphone. He explained that the technician believed the prior work simply hadn’t been done to his standards and they wanted to offer me a “redo.” Honestly, I found that conversation uncomfortable and unprofessional. I didn’t really want to discuss concerns about a technician while that same technician was sitting there listening on speakerphone. I agreed to the redo at the time because the situation felt awkward. A few days later, I called back and specifically asked to speak with a different manager because I wanted to discuss the situation privately. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received a callback. At this point, my concern is that technicians may be pressured to upsell services, even when they may not actually be necessary. I literally watched the first technician clean the blower in my driveway. I have a hard time understanding how it supposedly needed another cleaning less than a month later. When I questioned it, it felt like the company scrambled to come up with an explanation rather than simply acknowledging the issue. Between the conflicting information, the lack of communication, and the lack of follow up, I’m left questioning whether I even needed the original service in the first place. I spent over $2,000 with this company and walked away feeling more uncertain than confident. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other HVAC companies before using Total Comfort Solutions. Edit: I am editing this review, since I am unable to reply to the owners response. I did call to resolve this, and the outcome of that is documented in the above review. Instead of taking the time to call me or reach out to me, you posted a response here with no follow up.

10/10 experience with Total Comfort and the tech the sent out (Lon). Shortly after calling Total Comfort they dispatched Lon to my house. He came in and scoped out the water heater that was leaking (20 year old water heater finally gave out). He talked me through all my different options for my replacement and I told him I wanted to upgrade to a 50 gallon tank so our water heater wouldn’t have to be on a stand anymore. After deciding on a unit to get Lon went out and got the replacement heater as well as all of the replacement water lines, pipes, etc. Lon also let me ask all of my dumb questions. Since it’s my first time owning a home I had plenty. Lon did quick and thorough work during the replacement and changed out all of the other old parts that were corroded. He also had me run hot water through my house to get the air out of the line and inspect to make sure that everything was in good working order. Having a water heater fail and leak water in your garage is a stressful situation and given the quality of the work I feel calm about how things ended up. Also calling at 8:00am and having a new fully functioning water heater 5 hours later is quite impressive. Overall Lon left a great impression and I’ll definitely be using Total Comfort in the future for any emergency repairs or upgrades we want to do at our house. Thanks for taking great care of us today!

I'd like to take a moment to thank everybody who has helped my 86 year old mom out with her numerous service calls. However, most recently, we had a young gentleman out by the name of Lon, who did a fabulous job answering all of my mother's questions, giving a detailed explanation and doing a great job! He was very kind and patient with her and my mom was very pleased! Thank you Lon for all that you do!

I called Total Comfort Solutions as I had a repair noted on inspection on my home I was selling that needed addressed, the toilet in the master bathroom was loose and needed repaired by a licensed contractor. Dexter showed up the very next day and was very thorough for such an easy job. He ensured the toilet was secured properly and even checked the tightness of the securements for the toilet tank and did a couple test flushes to ensure that the wax ring did not leak. Dexter was very professional and helpful and didn't try to upsell me on repairs that weren't needed.
