I am starting this off by saying I have already given this company over $2,600 of my hard earned money for something that wasn't even broken. And I am mad. So far I am extremely upset with the "service" provided. The tech came out, told me it was a "fried" distribution board that needed a FULL and COMPLETE replacement because of how damaged it was, told me how much the repair was, we agreed to the price, I paid the 50% deposit. They ordered the part and called me to schedule an appointment to change out the board. So far so good, right? He came out while I was at a union bargaining session so I had another adult with him at my house. All of a sudden he claims that he missed a rusted heating coil and coolant was leaking that he swears wasn't leaking last week (I doubt he even checked). I ask for the price. He says he will call me back with an estimate but tells me I will have no heating or cooling without both being repaired. He calls me back and tells me it will be an additional $3,000 on top of the $2,300 for the distribution board that, come to find out, was NEVER needed plus signing up for their $300 per year membership I had just already paid for last week. I am beyond upset. On top of it, the tech proudly proclaimed he stopped the error messages on my furnace. I asked him what he meant since he made it sound like the board was physically damaged at the last service call, and he said that the unit needed to get a new distribution board to stop the error messages. When I confirmed with him what he was talking about, it was something I was ALREADY AWARE OF FROM THE TIME I HAD THE UNIT INSTALLED, it was a manufacturing defect according to the company that installed the unit originally and nothing needed to be done with it. Had he just told me he was getting error codes via the lights INSTEAD of telling me the board was physically damaged I could have told him that this unit has been like that since the initial install bypassing the unnecessary "repair". That distribution board had nothing to do with the issue and I am questioning what kind of company I am working with. Especially since the estimate I received in the email was for over $4,200 compared to the $3,000 he said over the phone. Seriously, what kind of company is this? I am not happy AT ALL, their tech seems to be working on commission, I am extremely angry, and I am about to go to report this company for its shady business practices.

Apollo just installed a new air handler and heat pump system in my new home, they did a wonderful job. James came out to give the quote and was extremely knowledgeable and answered my many, many, questions. He explained everything to me in detail and I felt very comfortable knowing exactly what the various offerings were. When it came time for the install, Aldo and Juan knocked it out of the park. The install is so clean and professional looking, I couldn't be happier. Color me impressed. I left them alone at my new house the whole day and when I came back to sign off in the work, my place looked spotless. Also, everyone I worked with at Apollo had a great attitude and exuded kindness. Their relaxed professionalism is exactly the kind of vibe I love. No hard sell, no grumpy underpaid techs, just knowledgeable and skilled people crushing it at their jobs. 10/10, would recommend.

Had a pipe break on my kitchen ceiling, called Apollo Heating and Cooling as I have used this company before. They were able to work me into their busy schedule given my emergent situation. I can’t express just how grateful I am that they made time to address my issue in a timely fashion. Journeyman Isaiah came to the rescue. He was amazing, took time to explain to me what he could do as a stop loss so we could have running water the same day and what needed to be done, bare minimum to fix the situation. Additionally, he provided various quotes to address the overall plumbing conundrums that come with my 112 year old house and all the various plumbing alterations it has undergone. I am very pleased with the rapid response to my chaos and very lucky to have met Isaiah, he did a great job explaining things to me in a way that I was able to understand.

My technician Ryan Ochs was able to locate a gas leak and fix it in the same day during my HVAC inspection. Which I am very greatful for, he also found a leak in two different areas. He fixed one of them and ran out of time ; I am very eager for him to return to fix the other one he found. I would 100% recommend Ryan to anyone who wants a thorough inspection. Ryan was able to answer ALL of my questions which I had plenty of and was delightful about it. My total cost for everything was around 2,000-2,500. Just a personal note to whoever at Apollo reads the reviews. As long as your team will be a pleasure about questions I will be happy to support this business long term. This is the most important thing to me as a customer.

Interesting that if Apollo had followed through with what the technician told me this morning I might be writing a five-star review. I got a text today offering 10% off duct cleaning and a free dryer vent cleaning. I responded that I now have ductless heating and cooling (which they’ve been servicing for almost two years so they should know) but could I still get the dryer vent cleaning for free since I am a senior and I pay almost $300 a year for the maintenance plan (and it’s a safety issue). He responded sure so I made an appointment for next week. Shortly after, I got a call from the receptionist saying they can’t do it for free. I was feeling so good about Apollo up to that phone call but that was my red line and I called back to cancel my membership in the “club.”
