- MMMichael4 days ago1.0Flaking on one appointment? Fine, stuff happens. Missing two? Annoying. But blowing us off THREE separate times while our elevator has been completely dead for over a month? That’s just straight-up not giving a damn. Jefferson Flats has been strung along. My mom was an apartment property manager for 19 years, so I know exactly how these third party vendor games work. They lock down the building's maintenance contract, collect the monthly retainer checks, and drag their feet on actual repairs because the residents aren't the ones signing their invoices. They know building owners rarely bother breaking contracts, so they treat service calls like an optional hobby. Meanwhile, the people actually living here deal with the fallout. With one elevator down for weeks, the whole building is fighting over the single cab left running. Living on one of the higher floors, my daily routine is either standing in the hallway waiting forever hoping the lone elevator finally crawls up, or giving up and hiking flight after flight of stairs hauling groceries. Watching folks try to move in and out this past month has been an absolute nightmare. Stay away from this company.
