  We had a great experience with Greenwood from start to finish. Shay was the first technician who came out, and she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain all of the problems with our furnace, showed us exactly what was wrong, and gave us great recommendations. She was very knowledgeable, patient, polite, and professional, and we really appreciated how thoroughly she explained everything. Shay then contacted Kris to come out and give us a quote, and Kris arrived within an hour, which was amazing. Kris was also great to work with and really worked with us to give us a great price. There was no pressure, no trying to upsell us, and we never felt like we were being pushed into anything we didn't need. Both Shay and Kris made the whole experience easy and comfortable. They were honest, professional, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about helping us. We really appreciate the excellent service we received from Greenwood and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing furnace or HVAC work. Thank you, Shay and Kris!

  RE: Plumbing correction and new hot water heater: Marcus was very professional, effective and got us corrected into compliance from a bad inspection from PSE on our gas hot water heater. Good candid advice on the merits of different systems in our application. Also corrected out of compliance issues with water pressure, Also kudos to Derek in his assistance to getting too big of an object through too small of a space.

  Enjoying my new furnace and am the heat. It’s nice to be warm again. Thank you Greenwood for your excellent service. I called Friday and discussed the project with Sergey on Saturday and had it installed today, Monday. So fast and painless. Thomas and Darius installed the new furnace and hooked up all the ducts in record time. I also needed some chimney work which they did. They cleaned up everything and hauled my old unit away. Thanks for a great job and a toasty house.

  I just completed a complex project with Junior, Ezekiel and Brian. I’ve got to say, I’m blown away with the professionalism, attention to detail, creative solutions and clear care for their customers and their craft. They helped answer my questions and walked me through each step along the way. Best of all, they installed 12 lights, multiple switches and did it all leaving me with zero sheetrock to repair. Hands down the best experience I have ever had when having electrical work done. I’ll be a customer for life!

  I thought about giving them a 2/5 because they did give me my money back relatively easily but at the end of the day this was just a horrible experience. Tl,dr: they wanted an insane amount of money to replace a water heater and also either misdiagnosed our condenser pump and/or (and I have no way to prove it or know for sure) intentionally disassembled it. We hired them to do some annual maintenance on our AC and heater as we bought a house with AC for the first time. We added on a water heater checkup to be on the safe side. The heater and AC maintenance cost $600 which seemed like a lot and in hindsight it was. The technician comes halfway through the inspection and grabs my wife from a work meeting she was on as she needs to see this "immediately". He says look your water heater had some corrosion on it, is 27 years old, and needs to be replaced immediately. We will do it for $6000 but we will give you 10% discount if we come tomorrow. That is an insane price for a water heater. Gas water heaters cost $700 to $1000 at Home Depot and they have to pull a permit and dispose of the old one. They take 3-4 hours to replace. So even if they spend $2000 on dump run, materials and permits, that is $1000 an hour you are paying. That is insane. Home Depot quoted me $2700 and another local plumber $3000. If a water heater goes out you will be out of hot water until it's fixed and it may leak, but my heater is in the garage. What's the worst that happens? Water comes out to my driveway? It was a hard sell to pressure us into paying an exorbitant fee for a replacement. Luckily my wife called me and we got second opinions. She felt like he treated her like the "dumb housewife" (despite that he pulled her out of an important work call) and left with a terrible feeling. It may not have been his intention but the results were the results. Secondly, and this part makes me angrier, he said our condenser pump was also broken and was just dripping down into a red bucket on the floor of the garage. When I later went and looked, the red bucket he was referring to was the reservoir that goes on the bottom of the pump. It's literally a PART OF THE PUMP. I did an experiment and the pump puts out 5 gallons of water every day during the summer. There is no way that reservoir was on the ground for more than a day without us noticing a ton of water on the ground. It seems so unlikely it was detached before the technician arrived but I have no proof. Finally, if he really was a good technician, wouldn't you say hey your reservoir is on the ground. Let me fix it for you or something? He said it was broken and needed to be repaired for another $600 (condenser pumps are $80 to purchase). So either he misdiagnosed the problem, miscommunicated, or worst of all broke our pump on purpose. Me, an idiot, fixed the pump in about 10 minutes so I can't imagine what he was talking about. I have a picture from when I cleaned out our garage a week before and the reservoir is attached. Oh also he took a picture of the condenser pump outlet and there is water on the ground so it was working recently. I called and complained and it took another call and three days to hear back. When I talked to the manager about this he tried to make excuses for the guy like maybe he meant the pump was out of warranty or maybe the tabs to hold it up were broken. Instead of addressing the problem he continued gaslighting us rather than taking responsibility. As I said he did give me a full refund after offering to replace our fully functional condenser pump or offering a "discount". If you want to spend a ton of money on replacing your water heater or other home needs, this is the company to go with. They can probably fix a water heat super fast but it will cost you.
