I had a clog that we didn't realize started from lint in the washing maching and that caused other drains not to drain. Josh with Bulldog Rooter came and found it issues and cleared everything up. He kept me apprised of everything needing done and the cost.
He also came about 30 minutes after I called when others were going to leave us with the back up that effected all the drains until the next day. I truly appreciate how quick and professional they were.

Really disappointed. We'd used them for drain services and always had good service. And the owners are such nice people.
Had them quote a plumbing drain project to bring a commercial sink to code, and it was almost $4000. We went to another highly reputable licensed plumbing contractor in the area and got the work done for under $1200 (including permit), and the inspector signed off and we're all good. I understand our project was an unconventional solution, but the crazy high price quote was completely unwarranted given that another contractor did the work in about 3 hours for less than 1/3 the price, and it works great.

I don't tend to write reviews, especially negative ones, but I felt this was important. We had Bulldog come for a slow drainage issue that was starting to backup. They cleared the blockage and asked to speak with both my husband and me after I got home from work. They proceeded to tell us that we needed to replace our sewer. From the conversation they offered several bids with varying levels of pricing options from about $17k to $26k. It was heavily implied that we would be delaying the inevitable to go with the cheaper (partial options) and heavily implied that we should go with the $26K option. AND THEN, they proceeded to tell us that if we decided right then, that they would take $2k off the price, but we had to make a decision right then. Definitely a pushy sales technique. It added a lot of stress and made me feel like I was making the wrong decision if I don't go with it. It was a lot to process and we weren't interested in making a decision right then. We tried to tell him we wouldn't be able to give an answer that fast and he said he would give us 24hrs. Again, it felt really pushy and prolonged the stress. He stated, "We're the cheapest in town except for 2 companies. And don't even get me started on them". Which was undermining the other companies' reputation.
We ended up refusing to accept their timeline in order to get bids from 4 other reputable trenchless companies in the area (only 1 being one of the companies he mentioned). EVERY BID came in between 7K and 14k. With the 14K bid (most expensive other bid) suggesting the same amount of sewer replacement as a 24K bid from Bulldog but achieving that result without having to cut through the concrete of my basement floor. Even after clarifying with 2 companies, stating that we were told the entire sewer needed to be addressed, they responded stating that they didn't think a full sewer replacement was necessary. They said the orangeburg pipe was the issue, not the clay tiles or cast iron. They said they could upsell us, and even provided a bid to do more work but they reiterated that didn't think it was necessary and said they would personally not do the extra if it were their house.
Based on the price differences from the sewer repair, I'm pretty sure we overpaid for cleaning out the initial blockage. HOWEVER, my biggest issue with this company was them pressuring us into a sale that is over $10,000 more than other every other company I got bids from. On top of that, that they were undermining other companies and using fearmongering to upsell us into thinking that we needed to redo our entire sewer.
I would not recommend them to anyone and was so thankful that 4 other companies were fair, gave us timely bids, and did not use fearmongering and timeline pressures to force us into a decision. Our sewer is now fixed by 1 of the four other companies and we're so glad we did not feel pressured into using Bulldog Rooter.

Called Bulldog Rooter for a leaking water heater and was impressed from start to finish. They had a plumber at my house within about an hour of my call, and work began almost immediately. Taylor was professional, straightforward, and took the time to explain my options without any pressure or upselling.
Unlike another company I spoke with, Taylor didn’t try to sell me a bunch of extras I didn’t need. He focused on solving the problem, got a new water heater installed the same day, and the workmanship looks great. The final price came in lower than another quote I received, and Bulldog did exactly what they said they would do.
If I need any more work done, I’ll be calling Taylor. I’d definitely recommend Bulldog Rooter to a friend.

When I bought my house 3.5 years ago I had them replace my main water valve shutoff, and a section of my sewer before closing on the house. Now this week I had another plumber come to look at a potential project, and they pointed out my main valve leaking again. So I called bulldog up expecting them to make it right. That definitely was not their intention. They told me warranty lasted only one year, which I expected to hear. But considering this valve should last 20 years, not 3, I also expected some offer to assess the issue and make it right at a cheaper cost. NOPE. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude, not caring, and told me I could just pay for the entire service again. So beware! Their work is not reliable and now I just have to hope their sewer work doesn't fail on me as well. I'd keep looking if I were you!
