  Just has a friend call to take a look at her dads in wall heater that he payed $1500+ to get installed, they shut it off at the panel saying “it’s the panel and wires that are bad needs a new panel we can’t finish the heater until we do the upgrade $15kplus” they wired the heater wrong and lied to the poor guy,another company installed a new heater and it worked with out issues. People please get other companies to look at the work that needs to be done I feel like this one over charges,doesnt complete the work properly and just tries to upsell and for the elderly have your kids be there when speaking to this company if getting them to look at the work I wouldn’t trust them alone with my parents to give them a fair shake. Very disappointed

  Received same day response (on a Sunday) after submitting an inquiry online re: AC not blowing cold air. Though a tech was available for a same day visit, we opted for next day as it was not an emergency. Greenwood technician, Thuan, arrived within scheduled window and did an incredibly thorough inspection of the AC unit and HVAC system. Issue was fixed in the one and only visit. Thuan provided a detailed overview of his inspection, explained the issue in understandable terms, and recommended options to address. Never felt like I was being upsold. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

  I’m a repeat customer of Greenwood Heating & Home Services and have had consistently excellent experiences. I first worked with Lori six years ago when I wanted to add AC to my townhouse. After moving, I immediately called Greenwood again to replace the HVAC system in my current home—and later recommended them to my parents as well. After getting estimates from other companies, the difference with Greenwood was clear. They are the only company that spwnt more than 15 minutes to thoroughly inspect the home and have a detailed conversation before providing a quote. That level of care and attention really sets them apart. Lori is the reason I chose Greenwood in the first place. She spent about 90 minutes inspecting all the vents and furnace, explaining her findings, and documenting everything with notes and photos to ensure her team had clear direction. She’s knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about her work. On top of that, she’s incredibly personable and easy to talk to, which made the whole process enjoyable. This current installation was scheduled for the very next morning. Josh handled the install and Bryan completed the electrical work. I really appreciated the clear communication ahead of time, including emails, texts, and photos of each team member and their expected arrival times. Everyone was professional, respectful, and efficient—they completed the job in a single day and left the home spotless. My parents even commented on how courteous and clean the team was. Everything went exactly as Lori described, with no surprises. I highly recommend Greenwood Heating to anyone looking for quality work and outstanding customer service.

  Our air system lacked any professional maintenance in quite a while; about 8 years. We have an air handler and a heat pump. Greg, our technician, was conveniently early to the appointment! He was very personable and focused on the job. A 2 1/2 hour visit turned into almost 4 hours. Greg kept me updated as he worked on the systems. Greg’s thoroughness found a condensate line issue and it took some effort to correct it. In addition, he took apart the heat pump and cleaned it. The heat pump outside - sits near tall maple and cedar trees. You can imagine the build up of debris. Although, I wash the cabinet off yearly, Greg removed all of the panels and cleaned it inside and out. The system is about 13 years old, yet now it looks brand new! Both systems are now remarkably clean and functioning more efficiently. We most strongly recommend Greg and Greenwood. We will be asking for Greg to be our technician next year! Thank you Greg and Greenwood! Well done!

  ORIGINAL 1 Day After Installation: Highly recommend! We decided we wanted a heat pump with air conditioner and extra-powerful air filter to keep out wildfire smoke and next-door-neighbor-stoner smoke. I called three companies based on user reviews and recommendations, and we decided to use Greenwood because their estimator was on time and seemed to be the most knowledgeable for our particular situation and the estimate was reasonably priced (note: not the cheapest but in reasonably line with the others). They were responsive and helpful during the buying process, then the installation turnaround was great. Their installation team was professional, friendly and on time, and everything was installed well, and the one time we had a question our sales person (estimator) responded quickly with a resolution even though we'd already signed the contract :) The invoice matched the estimates and the invoicing/billing/accounting team was friendly when I called to pay. So far the system is quiet, works well and we have not smelled our neighbor's pot smoking (he is out there at least a dozen times per day so it's amazing to not smell that anymore). Anyway, I'm a native Seattle-ite so have always firmly believed I didn't need AC for the five days a year it is 90 degrees, so to be honest was dreading this process a little bit, but Greenwood made it easy and painless. Again, I highly recommend. Especially since they are one of the few American businesses *not* currently owned by Wall Street or a Private Equity firm. UPDATED COMMENT DAY 8 We had some concerns with the system 8 days in but Greenwood came out, fixed them, and waived any associated costs with the additional work. These are complex systems so some early tweaks are to be expected -- I appreciate that they addressed our post installation quirks quickly!
