USAA listed Spectrum as a preferred contractor for our bathroom repair. Unfortunately, our experience with Spectrum was disappointing due to workmanship issues, lack of follow-through, and unresolved problems throughout the project. During the project, we experienced repeated issues with the contractors assigned by Spectrum. The demolition crew did not use dust barriers, left tile debris behind, and created significant dust that required professional cleaning. A second contractor was assigned to the project, but we had concerns about his condition and ability to perform the work. He acknowledged that he had been drinking the night before, and we did not feel comfortable proceeding with him. A third contractor was subsequently assigned to complete the remaining work. Although drywall was his primary specialty, he was used for multiple aspects of the bathroom renovation, including work that would ordinarily involve specialized trades. The project also had significant coordination and follow-through problems. A plumbing subcontractor arranged by Spectrum did not properly reconnect the faucet supply line to the wall. This resulted in a substantial water leak that damaged the laundry room ceiling below. The resulting drywall repairs remain unfinished. Another major concern is that our insurance company paid Spectrum for work that was not completed. Despite payment for the project, portions of the work remained unfinished, and we did not receive a refund or credit for the incomplete work. The project was closed without a final walkthrough or proper close-out review. Overall, our experience with Spectrum involved workmanship concerns, inadequate coordination, and unresolved issues. The level of service we received was not what we expected from a USAA-preferred contractor, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Spectrum. We have photographs and email correspondence documenting the issues described above. As of the date of this review, we are still working with a contractor resolution company. Despite multiple requests from the resolution company, Spectrum has not provided the required paperwork needed to move the resolution process forward.

I had a fire claim with usaa. After a myriad of practically ridiculous estimates from USAA, I had the BLISSFUL REFERRAL by usaa to Spectrum Construction company. Shilly their construction and repair officer took over the apparent overwhelming task to satisfy the required USAA paperwork, The result was that USAA recognized that the initial estimate was not sufficient. The result was A SEAMLESS AND OUTSTANDING REPAIR job of the many areas affected the residence cover gracefully by usaa Insurance. My suggestion to you all- if you ever have an insurance claim or any construction /repair contact either shilly or charles at Spectrum construction in seattle - YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

Spectrum construction did a great job on my basement repair. They were very professional and finished the project on time and under budget. Would work with them again in a heartbeat.
