I was at McLendon's Hardware a couple of months ago to purchase a diverter valve for my bathtub faucet and was unsure if the Chinese copy of the valve would fit. I noticed a young man with a Bower's Plumbing insignia on the back of his shirt shopping in the same dept. and asked him what he thought. I also asked him if his company did kitchen faucet replacement and he said that they did and gave me his business card. I also remembered from reading Yelp reviews of local plumbing companies that Bower's Plumbing was favorably received.
So when my hot water tank stopped working, I got that business card out and called Bowers. They sent out a nice young man, Angelo Chavez who gave me his recommendation that the tank needed replaced. I asked Mr. Angelo how soon the job could be done. He immediately got on the phone to ask his supplier if they had the tank he suggested to me. When they said yes, Mr. Angelo said that he could install it the next morning, which I thought was fantastic. All in all, Mr. Angelo did a professional job of installation, and I would definitely recommend Bower's Plumbing.

My flooring installers found a black spot in the floor while demo of the old, but they dont do plumbing... I called around and found Bowers. Brian was onsite within a couple hours of my phone call. Another company said they couldn't make it for three days. His quote was lower than I expected and his advice was top notch. I highly recommend Bowers and will definitely be using them moving forward.

I’m only giving 3 starts because Brian Sanchez was great, he was in and out quick.. if it weren’t for him I’d give Bowers 1 star. The scheduling and communication was NOT satisfactory. I was scheduled for a 10-12 yesterday then I called and they couldn't find my appt. I was rescheduled for a 1-3. No one showed in those time frames. I was messaged around 6 for someone to come over. I told that person it was too late and was rescheduled for 12-2 today. No call and no show from 12-2. 6pm and Brian Shows up telling me he got the call to come here 30 minutes before he got here. I was not communicated with during any of those times aside from the one set of text messages at 6pm on the 7th of May. This is not the way to run a business or appointments.
I called Bowers when I saw the water heater drain special with a few things for them to check on and give me a quote. They sent Seth who was delightful. The water heater was drained and flushed out. Added and expansion tank on and then ran a water line so I can finally utilize my ice make and cold water dispensers. Seth was professional, friendly, polite and cleaned up after himself as he went. I would recommend them for any jobs you might need.

I will say the negative first, but please read all of this. Any sort of “immediate repair or response” is never one that is friendly on the pocket book. So this wasn’t a huge surprise to me. $903.00 to remove the toilet, snake the line, and reassure the leaking stopped was a “dang.. this really sucks moment.”
The positive… I had a rupturing overflowing toilet at midnight. I sent a message to Bowers immediately after shutting the water valve off. At 5 am Joe had responded to my message, and by 8:30am the John, a technician, was on site working. Not only did they get someone to me as fast as possible, they also reached out and had a remediation team reach out and arrive to my house by 10:30am because he knew the damage my home had taken from this “flood.”
So… would I call them again.. Yes. The price was not awesome, but the peace of mind, the extra step to get others involved without me asking, that’s going the extra mile for your customer, that’s thinking about service further then plumbing, and I will say that security of knowing the right person has us taken care of, is worth some value for sure.
Thank you Bowers team, and although my home is in a bit of a mess, I look forward to the rebuild process with your team involved.
