- RBRebecca B3 days ago5.0I called American Mains & Drains a few months back after I had called another plumbing company to descale my tankless hot water heater. The plumber from the first company had given me an absurdly high price (1.5 - 2x the average rate in the area) for this routine service on my water heater. I called AM&D literally while the plumber from the first company was standing there, and AM&D gave me an estimate for the work within the expected range. I paid the first plumber's call-out fee, and sent him on his way. AM&D came out the following day to do the work. The AM&D plumbers also found the source of a small leak that the other plumber did not find. They also repaired that leaking condensate pipe the same day. The whole team at AM&D - I spoke to the husband and wife who own the company, in addition to the plumbers who came out - were professional, kind, and very capable. The work was reasonably priced. I will 100% call them out for any future plumbing needs!
