Because we had some carpet left over from the original work, Chris was able to seamlessly splice together the original carpet and a patch that corrected the problem. The original installer had suggested using an extra-wide transition strip to cover over their mistake, but Chris used a state-of-the-art radio wave seaming iron to create a patch that blends perfectly and is stronger than a normal seam. I was very impressed by Chris's skill and perfectionism; he's an absolute top-notch professional, and a master at his craft.
