We had what seemed to be a great experience with Premier Fence to begin with. The fence was very well done. However, many things seemed odd from the start and it only got worse.
Lets begin with when the crew completed the job, no one ever came and notified me that the job was complete. They simply left both of the gates open and left. No communication at all, not even a phone call or email. I work from home and the crew knew I was there as I'd gone out to let them know.
When I went to walk my yard to see for myself if the job was completed, I found that they had left garbage from the fencing along the entire fence line throughout our yard (just shy of an acre). We never received a final receipt, nor any information on a warranty or if there even was one. We never received a follow up call to see if we were happy with the project. I also found it odd that they didn't bill us for this $13,000 plus project for almost 2 months after it was completed. The whole experience was odd.
We then later discovered that they had left the bolts too long where our gate rolls closed and it was bending the fencing. I called to see if someone would come out to look at it (we are 3.7 miles from their office location) but they refused and asked that we send pictures instead. I sent pictures via email and asked that this damage be fixed since the reason for the damage was due to the extra long bolts that they didn't for whatever reason cut down. We were told that it was not covered under the warranty (what warranty?) and we should have been pulling the gate out more when opening and closing it to have prevented damage but they'd be happy to send us a quote for repairs. The interesting part of this is that no one told us we would need to (substantially) pull the gate out when opening and closing it to prevent any damage to our gate. Had anyone let me know this before they left the day of installation, this could have been avoided. Who does a project like this and doesn't follow up with the customer?
My husband and I went back and fourth with them several times both by email and phone to try and get this repaired. The treatment from the staff was rude from the start and only got worse with each communication. After much wasted time, their idea of a fix was spray paint on our rubberized black gate and cutting the bolts (that should have been cut by their crew at the time of installation). The guy that cut the bolts literally watched the pieces fall to the ground and just left them laying in our driveway. He also spray painted the gate with cars in the driveway where the spray could get on the cars (all on camera). Then they sent us a quote for nearly $200 to fix this damage. And still no copy of what our warranty does cover??
Please also be aware that where "Dave" mentions in his response to Pats review that his staff was being cussed at - I was there during that call and Dave's claims are absolutely false. Interestingly enough when Pat asked to talk to a manager he was told "Dave" wasn't there and wouldn't be back in the office at all that day, then suddenly he appeared available. There was no cussing until "Dave's" staff was talking over the top of Pat and then hung up on him. They were extremely rude from the start of us asking for a very small repair of damage that wasn't our fault on a very large job. They clearly do not value their customers and it shows. What kind of customer service is it when over $13,000 is spent and you can't repair something that was the fault of your crew? They cost themselves more than the amount of their bid in the time they spent with petty arguing and rude behaviors. I encourage you to read other reviews. You will see very similar experiences with lack of repairs and rude staff.
We have two neighbors with dilapidated wood fences that asked us about using Premier and we have highly recommended AGAINST it, and will NOT recommend Premier to anyone in the future. Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service and follow up.

I did not use premier fence because the Lady I spoke to was rude and they wanted me to measure my own property before coming out to give me an estimate. So I found Brandon at Rock Solid Fence and I would recommend him way over premier fencing

As a fellow small business owner I am appalled at the customer service I received after purchasing $5,000 worth of material from premier fence. In our experience with distributors, any mistake made is quickly and happily fixed. My first call with brier to place the order for the material was great. I explained we would like the material delivered in the back on the right side of the house. Instead, it was sloppily delivered in our driveway where we need to park 2 trailers and both of our large vehicles. There is no street parking allowed in our hoa. When I recieved the photo of where they delivered the material from our neighbor, I was very upset and called and sternly expressed our problem, but kindly thanked brier for her help. We did not receive a call back from them. I asked for them to come fix the issue and refund the delivery fee. 2 days later now I had to call them, and I kindly and cheerfully asked to speak with the manager to sort out what had happened. She immediately cut me off and would not let me speak, only to tell me that they wont be doing anything to fix their mistake. The manager then proceeded to speak angrily and unprofessionally towards me. I told her I personally told brier where we would like the material delivered and that although their notes say differently, clearly there is human error there and that is okay, kindly jusr come move the material off my driveway and I dont even care about the refund on the delivery charge. According to the manager it was still my fault and they would not be fixing their mistake, all in an angry and condescending tone. She would not allow me or my husband who called very calmly to speak to the owner, because as business owners we could just not imagine wanting your customers treated this way and business run as so. Again, we own a contracting company and deal with material deliveries often, and this is not the standard. I hope the owner reads this and will give us a call to smooth things out. See photos of the materials fallen over in our driveway.
