  BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. We have been paying quarterly for service from TKE on our companies elevator. We found out recently that they have not been performing any service on our elevator for the last 3 years but still have been charging us for maintenance. I have tried to reach out to multiple departments and request refunds and proof of service with no replys. What they are doing is illegal!

  I normally never post one star reviews but this one is well deserved. 6 months ago our elevator went down. They said our door was broken and it would take 5 weeks to order parts. Okay we said. Well 5 weeks have come and gone. Parts came and were installed. Then came the “we are missing parts.” 2 more weeks pass. Then they said “we need to program it” another 2 weeks pass. Then they said “we need to change out another part.” 2 weeks pass. Then again, “we need to change out another part.” weeks pass. Then it was “we need low power unit replaced” another few weeks pass. I spoke with the men that did the install. One of them mumbled that this company sells parts that really aren’t needed. What!? Now we are at the point TKE just shows up for a couple hours a week and leaves with no new information on what’s going on. We are in contract with this company and no other company will service the elevator that has been worked on and damaged by other companies. We are kind of stuck. TKE is a large company, when first contacting them I was routed through a service in India which connected me to the Tacoma branch which connected me to the Seattle branch. I believe each branch is its own entity and the one here in Seattle is Horrible. Has anyone else have this problem? What was your resolution? It has now been 6 months without an elevator. There is no end in sight when the repairs will be done. Horrible.

  Worst elevators ever. Break in my apartment building literally every month. And takes forever for them to be fixed. Maintenance team said it’s a different issue every time. Will never live or work in a building that uses them again.

  I have had an elevator maintenance contract with this company for over 20 years and realized that they are expensive and completely unresponsive. I cannot get them to indicate who is responsible for my account, return phone calls or provide service records. They are only interested in selling their elevator modernization projects. If you do get someone on their end to answer the phone, they don't know anything, so its a complete waste of time. I recommend avoiding this company. They are aweful!
