I rarely leave reviews online, but feel compelled to do so now. We had MM comfort replace our furnace a couple of years ago and it went smoothly, but everything else after that has been a drag. We had one service included for the furnace and when the tech came to do that he didn’t replace a filter, which was part of the job. Never said anything about it, we only found out that he didn’t replace from the invoice. Had to chase them for several weeks to get the filter replaced. Many calls and emails after MM comfort finally replaced it. Now we had to get our furnace serviced again and the same story happened. Filter not replaced, didn’t know that it wasn’t as the tech didn’t say anything. Also, had to ask the tech that a maintenance sticker be put on the furnace. Called MM comfort and they said it’s a separate service. Fair enough but it’d be nice to be informed about it. Bought the filter but can’t install it as I can’t find where the filter is located in the furnace. Googled it-can’t find the info, asked AI where the filter is for this specific model - can’t find anything for this model. Called MM comfort and they reluctantly said they’d have a tech call us. The instructions they sent didn’t help at all - same what we found online anyway. Here we are 3 days later, no calls from the tech. Question is why do I have to run around chasing contractors to have a service done properly? Lesson learned here - next time I’d be standing next to the technician and observe everything what they are doing! Can’t rely on them just doing their job! And next time will go with another contractor.

Original star rating : 3 Edited after corrections: After the install and speaking with the lead installer, the issues below have been addressed and fixed. Jeff was very professional and made sure all my concerns were addressed. I'm satisfied with the outcome and would recommend them in the future. Original review: I recently had a new heat pump, air handler, and thermostat installed. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and professional. That being said, on the original day of install which was a Monday, they didnt show up. I called and left a voicemail asking what's going on and received a return call about 30 min later saying both of the installers and the dispatcher called out sick. Could they have been actually sick, sure. But my main issue after the phone call was the feeling that no one would have have reached out and informed me that they weren't coming if I didnt call. Especially after we made accommodations for the install to take place. The new install date was moved to the Friday of the same week. They showed up withing their givin window of 7:30-9am and work till around 5:30pm. My wife was home and said they were nice and respectful, especially since she was working from home More of my issues arise as I inspect their work after they leave, and they left in a hurry. Starting outside: The insulation outside the house from the heat pump to the crawl space looks terrible, they left screw holes unsealed from the old wiring, the left trash and parts laying around, the left a dewalt drill in my driveway as well as a tool case on my deck. Inside the house I will say the new thermostat they installed looks great. But the did leave a bit of a mess on the floor from some duct sealant and a disorganized pile of paperwork left on the counter. I also found the plug of where they hole sawed through the floor just chilling on the rug as well as the saw dust made from drilling just sitting there. They also didn't seal the floor well as I can see into my crawl space. I haven't checked the crawl space yet but i have a feeling there is going to be something I dislike down there. All in all everything seems to work, though after spending $17k i dont have the warm and fuzzies. I may just be being nitpicky but after spending that much money I think I'm allowed to be a little but. I feel like they did the work but didn't have the attention to detail I expected from highly rated costco installer.

In my many years, I've had many different technicians work on my homes. Anton is the best. He is cordial, knows his stuff, and explains everything clearly and in terms I understand. I most highly recommend him and Home Care Alliance to my neighbors and friends.

I got furnace repair service recently but Home comport service technician Joseph charged $360 membership fee I don't want without any explanation ; it was kind of trick to mislead customers. Also they gave way higher quote against other competitive company. After talking with manager/Dayton he mentioned to refund $360 on the phone but did not get any response yet.

We just purchased our home and needed both furnace and AC servicing. We called Home Comfort Alliance (previously GS Heating) since they installed the AC unit for the previous owner a couple of years ago. We were able to get an appointment that worked for our schedule in just a few days. The technician, Anton was great. He was on time, courteous and very knowledgeable. He mentioned that our systems were still running great and he didn’t try to push us for a new system. Anton even took the time to explain our (new to us) Honeywell thermostat and how best to set it for our home. We also appreciated HCA’s prompt communication for the appointment confirmation, technician arrival and invoicing. We had a very positive experience and will continue to use Home Comfort for our maintenance needs.
