- KDKenny DayAug 28, 20255.0I had a skidsteer reserved from home depot. When I went to pick it up I was told the corporate office had cancelled my order because a contractor needed it. Since I took vacation for this project and help scheduled I reached out to United. Cory found what I needed available in a nearby city the same day. Everyone I engaged with were pleasant. Even a slight billing issues was resolved in a couple of minutes. I will do directly to United in the future, despite living next door to a home depot.
- GMGina MohrJul 21, 20251.0EXTREMELY UNETHICAL. Your reporting doesn't reflect what occurred. We described our site conditions several times asking if the equipment was suitable to both your clerks and neither mentioned ground clearance, only gravel compaction. We have proof of our gravel compaction from our site engineers. Your clerk emphatically claimed several times that the equipment would work in front of a contractor and also during a phone call on speaker with your driver and the first time that we were informed that ground clearance was an issue was from the driver. We would have used the equipment for 75% of our job, which was smooth concrete, depending on the cost of returning the equipment undelivered. With your driver listening, we asked your clerk to let us know how much to return the equipment, which she was unable to do. The driver left with the equipment unloaded, and well after he returned to your yard, you charged us two round trips, unloading and reloading the equipment. You responded as though you have high ethics, you just didn't act with ethics.
