Gabe and Dante came to my house to fix a clogged toilet. They were fast, very friendly (My dog even liked them) and cleaned up afterwards. I do feel that $600 to unclog a toilet, (they were literally here for 20 minutes) was probably a little on the higher side, but then again, if I knew how to unclog my toilet myself, I would have already done it. Thank you for helping to get us “going”… ;D 😉

Levi was all around fantastic. Arrived on time and scheduled. Listened and understood the whole problem - dived right into work after explaining his thoughts to me. Actual work was clean, fast and clearly done by an experienced professional. No work was done without explaining and showing me the options. Levi even walked around and found the main water shutoff that 3 others couldnt find. Patient. Knowledgeable. Skilled. Would highly recommend!

Steve's Plumbing responded within mere minutes to our plumbing service request and sent over Brandon to diagnose/troubleshoot our Rinnai tankless water heater's recent issues. In turn, Brandon did a fantastic job of quickly figuring out what was going wrong and laying out the short-term and long-term fixes. He was trustworthy and reliable, clearly and directly explaining what was going on without trying to tack on additional "problems" or "fixes" like so many other plumbers. And most importantly, he truly fixed our issues. Thank you, Brandon!

Honestly really disappointed. We had a toilet not draining properly. Tech came out, diagnosed a bad install of a drain line (test balloon left behind). Said it was a pretty small but serious issue, surprising the previous plumber would make such a basic mistake. Then he proceeded to give us a long lecture about the hazards of the task, that there's going to be poop everywhere, that he needs special sanitization suits and a restoration company will have to come clean up after... He wrote up an estimate of ~3200$ for the work without the cleanup. He did mention if it turns out to be easier he'll charge less, but he that he didn't really want to do it, it wasnt a fun job (!?) and that he wasn't willing to start without going and buying specialist equipment and protective suits first... so tl;dr the likelyhood of that "lesser" price IMO was slim to none. So, I paid a 100$ call out fee for basically nothing but a rambling lecture about hazmat suits and poop. I'd actually not be too mad at this point; $100 for an expert diagnosis of what's wrong is reasonable... But on top of that, the one thing he was supposed to do afterwards was email me the invoice and details so I could find someone else to do it because he directly said he didn't want to - and I didn't even get that. I crawled under there myself and took pictures of the situation and sent it to two other local plumbers. Both quoted 500$. I asked if there was any risk of mess, both said not anything abnormal (one laughed). One recommended I do it myself and spent 5 minutes explaining what to do step by step, ending with "this is about as easy as it gets for diy. Buy a cap and have a bucket handy you'll be fine". Turns out there were actually two balloons to remove - which the technician from Steve's did not mention, so either he missed it or just didn't tell me. So I did. It was annoying to crawl under there but the plumbing task itself was absolutely trivial. Overall 0/10, my only explanation for this headache is he didn't want to do the job because it was kind of hard to crawl over a pipe in the crawlspace.

Riley and Cale did a stellar job of getting my shower/tub drain flowing quickly again! They assessed multiple potential causes of the slow drain before making recommendations and adjustments, which I appreciated--it wasn't just a matter of cabling out a clog. They made sure their solution would last and met a mutually-agreed standard on how fast the drain should work. They left the area cleaner than what they started from, and I got tips on how to maintain the drain, tub, and shower. I was absolutely delighted on how well the drain worked afterwards--better than even before I started having slow draining issues! It's service like this that reinforces the value of being a Diamond Club member of Steve's Plumbing.
