- EJErnest James4 days ago5.0We had roughly 25 windows installed in a hundred year old house, including a handful of windows that needed new windowsills, casing and trim. It's an older house with some challenges. My wife and I are very happy with the installation. Especially the customer service from the Brown Team: Logan, Dylan P, Tito, Alex and Dylan B. Logan was very patient with me when I had questions and he went the extra mile to get everything right when I had requests about adjusting anything that I had issues with.

I was impressed by their attention to detail, quality of work, communication and efforts to minimize their presence. They did an outstanding job. We also had over twenty windows installed and were pleased with their work as well. My only criticism had nothing to do with any of the workers but when we first put our deposit down for the siding we were told it would begin at the beginning of September. That day was moved to October, November, December and finally January. Other than that I would hire them again.

The term "Any Size" refers to any size replacement Double-Hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently this is a minimum width and height of 15" X 26" and a maximum of 48" X 78". "Installed" refers to the removal of a basic Double-Hung wooden window and installing your new Window World replacement window, using the existing wooden stops.

The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Generally, replacement windows can be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date that the final measurements are taken. The type of window being installed and type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
