We needed to replace carpeting on the second floor of our townhome, and it was great working with the team at Main Street Floor Covering. At Lowe's, we couldn't even find an employee to speak with when we visited, that definitely wasn't an issue here. The installers (one of whom owns the company) were very fast, did a great job and were very pleasant guys. Great experience all around.

Perfection! Yes, perfection! From the first encounter to the last, Main Street Floor Covering of Essex Jct. VT was absolutely stellar in its flooring advice, very reasonable flooring estimate, welcoming and personable sales staff and its exceptionally high standards for flooring installation. After asking for their experienced advice as to the type of flooring, we bought the Progen planking because of our complicated basement environment with no winter heat. After the professional installation by owner Dave and technician Benny, the big reveal was explosive. The beautiful planking transformed the basement into a living space that was bright, durable, and cheerful. The sales staff of Debby and Christy was very knowledgeable and experienced. They were very welcoming and very customer service oriented. My wife and I had an exceptional buying experience with them. It was a pleasure to work with them. Main Street Flooring, Pearl Street checked all of the boxes for excellent estimates, professional advice, welcoming environment and error free installation. This was a very positive home project experience. I happily award Main Street Flooring 5 Google stars for being one of the best floor covering companies in northern Vermont. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently shopped around to replace all of the carpet on our second floor, comparing both the big box stores and a couple of local Vermont flooring businesses. We decided to go with Main Street Floor Covering in Essex, and we're very glad we did. From the moment we walked into the showroom, we were welcomed by Operations Manager Kristy and the front desk person (Sorry I forgot her name). She helped us find the perfect carpet for our home and even came out the very same day to take the measurements. About a week later, Brad and his son completed the installation over two days, and they did a fantastic job. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. From the moment we walked through the door at Main Street Floor Covering until the installation was complete, the entire experience was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. This is a business that truly knows how to get things done. No surprises, no hassles: just great service and excellent results. I now understand why they have so many 5-star reviews. We highly recommend Main Street Floor Covering to anyone looking for quality products and exceptional customer service. Thank you to Kristy, Brad, and the entire team!

Main Street Floor Covering replaced my entire first floor (linoleum, tile, carpet) with beautiful hardwood. They showed up with a great team and had the job done in less than a week. They were super helpful and friendly along the way. It looks fantastic. Thanks.
