  From the moment I walked into the store, Mr. Derrick Kakar, the manager/owner of the store made the entire process effortless. He was extremely knowledgeable about every product available and was patient with helping me choose the perfect flooring for my home, which was Mohawk RevWood Plus in Sun Dried Oak. Prior to the installation, he personally came to my home, inspected each room, explained the installation plan from top to bottom to remove the existing flooring and installing the new, and scheduled everything with precision. When Carlos, the lead installer and his crew of three additional installers arrived, their professionalism and efficiency were unmatched. They began on the top level of my townhome and worked their way down through all three floors and three sets of stairs, which includes a dual staircas on the main level. What was expected to take six days was completed in just four and the results were flawless. Every detail was handled with care, and the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. The finished floors are absolutely beautiful. The color, texture, and grain pattern of the Sun Dried Oak stands out in the best way, especially the natural wave-like grain. At certain times of day, when the light hits just right, those soft, flowing lines look exactly like tree bark, giving the floors a warm, organic character that feels both natural and high‑end. The quality of the product and the skill of the installation team made this experience exceptional from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend American Carpet & Floors for your next flooring project.

  Absolutely fantastic experience from the First American team. I had them put new flooring in my house last week, and they did a phenomenal job. Crew was timely, polite, and professional, and they went above and beyond to exceed expectations. I will definitely be using them again.

  First American Carpet is incredible! Derrick was an absolute pleasure to work with. We really appreciated his communication and customer service. My wife and I always prefer to shop local/family owned businesses and are so glad we chose first American carpet over the big orange/blue stores. Great customer service, great pricing, and great workmanship. I will certainly be recommending this business to my family,friends, and neighbors!
