  I will say this they were having delays due to truck problems and being I work overnight this was a nightmare for me but Andre did everything he could to make sure I stayed in the loop and get the job completed. I'm big on communication and that's what he maintained with me all the way and that keep my frustration at bay. Keep up the good work ethnics " good customer service communication skills"

  Everyone I dealt with at Home Genius was professional and courteous. The windows that were installed are absolutely stunning. The crew was able to get my job done in under four hours. Pricing is also very competitive for this market.

  I had my roof installed by them two weeks ago. My project manager was AJ, for the most part the roofers did a great job. Until I noticed on the back side of my house I have flashing visible from my siding. I contacted AJ and he agreed it needed to be fixed. I’ve left 2 messages to him since and he has seemed to have ghosted me. Not to mention after the project I’ve stepped on 4 nails and had to walk my yard multiple times after. Also during initial quote I mentioned I needed new fascia board, I was made to believe the quote I received for new shingles came with new boards and even asked three times when I was being quoted. When they showed up he said fascia board wasn’t included and I did not receive what I was promised was included. will be definitely checking reviews next time.

  My spouse gave their door to door salesman a chance and scheduled an appointment to get a quote for attic insulation. They were 20 minutes late and then called and told us they were knocking on our door but no one was home. My front door was open and I was right inside waiting for them. I could see the inspector across the street in his truck. Once they got into the home and looked around they never gave us a quote until we disclosed our budget and weirdly their quote was exactly our budget. We explained we were waiting for a quote from another company and the rep got upset, pushy, and didn't want to take no for an answer, despite us telling him we were waiting for other quotes. The lying, the tardiness, and the rude behavior was truly bizarre. Even if their quote is the best, I won't be going with Home Genius for those reasons alone.

  The inspector I had was Mack. Although he was a great salesman and communicative prior to the 3 day cancellation deadline, after the cancellation deadline was over he was impossible to reach. I reached out numerous times over text and left voicemails but only got one call back (and that was after I told my PM Andrew that I was trying to get in contact with him). His lack of communication was frustrating and the times he said he would call back, he never did. Mack actually said that I could get it done cheaper if I picked up some people from Home Depot but the workmanship would be questionable. Ironic that the crew that did our replacement was the demographic he was referencing. Additionally, we had a PM from the DMV area come down and speak with us the same time Mack was there to just see how things were and to see if he could help any better. His name was Eric Moore. He was a great salesman as well but seemed to really care about getting the contract signed. I contacted him a few days after everything started off on the wrong foot and he pushed me back to my PM - which is nothing wrong with that, but I would think since he was there for the sale he would have a little investment in its production. On to the install itself. The crew came two days early and started ripping off the roof without letting us know. I woke up to it at 6 AM and went outside to tell them that they were not supposed to be here yet. They continued to work until I had to call the PM twice to get them to stop. When they did stop, they left the roof exposed and as is - we had possible rain coming so I had to call the PM again to get it covered. The day of install wasn’t that bad honestly, they got it done in one day. The clean up was okay as well, there was personal trash left behind - water bottles, food bags, etc. Overall, the install was great. The lifetime warranty is nice but it seems to be overpriced. Other quotes I received came around the 10-15k range while the contract was quoted at 22k. That being said, the service I received was not at all compared to how it was advertised and I was severely disappointed. I cannot say I would go with this company again in the future for any projects due to 1) customer service satisfaction and 2) pricing. The financing option is nice and we were able to utilize it for the time being but there are other avenues to receive the funding through other loans or going with another company. Our PM Andrew did meet our expectations that was advertised and he was great. It seems like the salesmen can be pushy and prioritize the sale and will help you out if it allows them to get a sale.
