I had a leaky pipe under ground and honestly just called this company on a whim because they had great reviews. And they didn’t disappoint! These guys showed up right on time and got the job done in such a timely manner! I was very impressed and would totally recommend them for any pipe issues that you need taken care of asap! Thank you again A1!
⭐ 1-Star Review — Very Unprofessional Experience
I normally never write reviews, but my experience with A1 Sewage and Drain was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
My gas water heater went out, so I called A1. The next day, their technician came out, inspected the heater, measured the space, and pulled up a specific water heater on his tablet from Home Depot. He told me, “This is the one you need to order.” I pulled it up on my phone, showed it to him before ordering it, and he confirmed it was the correct one.
The next day, two A1 technicians arrived to install it. Within minutes, they told me the water heater A1 had recommended was too wide and would not fit. They said installing it would require removing the door frame and altering my bathroom. They gave me the correct model instead.
Because of A1's mistake, I had to load the first heater back onto my truck, return it to Home Depot, drive to another store, and purchase another heater that cost over $200 more. I also had to wait another day for installation.
I contacted A1 twice and asked if they could provide any compensation for the additional expense and inconvenience. Both times I was told someone would speak with management and get back to me. Nobody ever did.
Then, on the installation day, my appointment window was 2–5 PM. I received calls at approximately 2:45 and 4:00 saying the technicians were on their way. Five o'clock came and went, and nobody showed up. I had to call the company again.
When the technicians finally arrived, the experience got even worse. One man walked up to my door and simply asked, “Where's the new heater?” without introducing himself. Another man later walked into my house without knocking or being invited in, saying he was a plumber and was there with the other technician.
Neither technician properly introduced themselves or communicated with me. After the installation, they left trash behind, left my towel rack sitting on the toilet, and left dirt on the carpet. They left parts of the door jam they removed and said they weren't allowed to replace them.
Mistakes happen, but what really bothered me was the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability afterward. I had to deal with the wrong equipment being recommended, an additional $200+ expense, another day without hot water, a missed appointment window, unprofessional behavior, and no follow-up whatsoever from management.
I also didn't see the $25 military discount applied to the original estimate and have not yet received the closing invoice.
I would never use A1 Sewage and Drain again, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Do not do business with this place! *warning to all please read*
I hired them to work on my mother's house. My mother's home is old and I knew there was at least one burst sewage pipe that I already have pictures of I asked that the technician do a thorough search under the crawl space because I was certain that it was likely the entire plumbing system would need to be replaced considering how old the home was. That was not done the man barely went 5 ft into the crawl space and repaired a coupling I was charged $480. He did not crawl the entire space because there were three different burst sewage pipes. He assured me that that coupling was the only issue I had crew come out and repair insulation underneath the home and they found a massive area where there was still covered in sewage and broken pipes. I called back and said that the previous technician did not crawl underneath the space like I asked and that I needed another technician to come out to give me an estimate all they were willing to do was wave the $89 dispatch fee they sent a second technician out first he went to the wrong house he crawled under my neighbor's house I told him that was not my house he goes back crawls underneath my mother's house and finds $10,000 worth of damage and still charges me $113 for him to go crawl under my neighbor's house and under mine. Which should have been done the first time like I asked. I have called back twice and asked for a manager to reach out to me I do not think that it is fair that I've had to pay almost $600 out of pocket for them to do nothing the coupling they replaced is maybe $75 at the most
Update: still haven't heard from them don't waste your money on terrible service

A1 Sewer and Drain provided an outstanding experience from start to finish on my toilet removal and installation project. My service technician, Jajuan Scott, was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain every step of the work and made sure I understood what was being done. His expertise and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the service. It is refreshing to work with someone who is so courteous and committed to great customer care. I highly recommend A1 Sewer and Drain, especially Jajuan, to anyone needing reliable sewer or drain service.

After interacting with two other plumbing services, I decided to call A1 Plumbing. My first call with them, they were willing to send someone out the same day! Ultimately, I needed a main cleanout installed. I got a no nonsense quote and for the first time, I was given the truth rather than being pressured to be upsold on stuff I didn’t need. I got scheduled for the repair the next day and wow, I was impressed. Kyle Garvey and Jayden Manning ensured to have the city mark gas and other lines from the city prior to working and they got the cleanout installed. They kept me informed along the way and were super professional. Then, James Ludwig snaked the drain. James even showed me where the clog was on the camera and snaked out all kinds of gunk, then showed me how water flow was supposed to look after he completed. Not only was I impressed with A1’s responsiveness, but their service team (the three individuals outlined) were so professional, honest, and friendly. I was quoted $19K from a different plumbing service and A1 got my house back up and running for less than $1,500 - far less than every quote I’ve received. These folks definitely earned my business - kudos!
