They were great problem solvers, figuring out how best to explore the area while minimizing any potential damage. After exploring the issue, they repaired the area, and it looks excellent. Highly recommend!

We have hired Coghlan Enterprises for a major kitchen cabinet restoration (late Aug-early September timeframe) and will likely look to them for an exterior paint job futher down the line. They are local (Toano) and very professional.

Is there a type of tile you recommend?
Not necessarily. Different tiles work better for different spaces and surfaces, but ultimately, it comes down to preference. We can work with nearly any tile, from large-format tiles to decorative glass mosaics. If you’re unsure, we can help you find the right option.
Can I avoid grout lines?
Absolutely. Wetwall and other prefabricated wall panels offer alternatives to tiled shower walls. However, today’s large-format tiles can minimize grout lines and work beautifully on both walls and floors.
Do you seal your tiles?
When needed, yes. Porcelain and ceramic tiles typically come pre-sealed, while natural stone, such as marble and travertine, requires sealing. We generally seal natural stone two to three times, and our grout also contains sealing compounds.
Do I have to use custom cabinetry?
No. While we love custom cabinetry for its quality and flexibility, we also offer quality prefabricated cabinets. We can even combine both options—for example, using factory cabinets with a custom-built kitchen island or specialty cabinet.

Yes! We offer timber framing and love its timeless character. If you’re considering incorporating timber-frame construction into your home or property, we’d love to discuss your ideas.
