  I paid Woodfin $1,405 to complete work on my HVAC system, including testing the heating and air conditioning. Most importantly, Woodfin’s own invoice specifically states that the technician checked the system and ensured that “all other electrical components were working properly” before declaring the system operational. The installation later failed a county inspection because the indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment were overamped. When I raised the issue, Woodfin maintained that its HVAC department had assessed only the condenser and air handler—not the electrical panel or breakers. My concern was not whether replacing the breakers would have cost extra. My concern was why the incorrect overcurrent protection was not identified before the electrical components were documented as working properly and the system was declared operational. I requested management review, and the service coordinator stated that my concerns would be forwarded to supervisors. No supervisor ever contacted me. I am very disappointed with the assessment and the lack of management follow-through after I raised a concern supported by Woodfin’s own invoice. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Woodfin.

  Brandon and the two gentlemen with him did a great job installing our mini split. They kept me informed of a few minor changes. Would definitely recommend these guys again. However the first phase of the project placed the electrical box too far from the outdoor unit. Brandon was able to correct this.

  I was very satisfied with the professionalism and skills displayed by the technicians during the heating, electrical, and plumbing inspections under the comfort plan. They were all very informative when describing what they were doing and when responding to questions. In subsequent service to replace our smoke detectors, your electrician and his assistant worked diligently and expeditiously to replace the detectors, their brackets and wire harnesses. They also vacuumed afterwards to clean up small amounts of debris. My thanks also for the discount provided under the comfort plan.

  We were dealing with an AC nightmare in the middle of the summer heat and had already had a horrible experience with a previous technician, so finding a company we could trust was extremely important. I’m so glad we called Woodfin. From the beginning, everyone was courteous, professional, and upfront about pricing. The diagnostic was handled by Micah, he was very thorough. The next day our technician, Anthony Wiggins arrived. He was amazing. He was empathetic, explained every step he was taking, and genuinely cared about getting our AC working and keeping my family comfortable. Susan was also really great to work with during this stressful time. She was responsive, knowledgeable and kind. The overall experience was excellent. I was so impressed that I purchased their yearly maintenance plan, which is well worth it. Woodfin has definitely earned a forever customer. Thank you Anthony and the Woodfin team!

  We called Woodfin when we discovered a leak under our kitchen sink due a corroded faucet and faulty valves. Zachary was our technician who diagnosed the issue, did a full home plumbing inspection, and replaced our faucet and valves. He was extremely professional, thorough in his work, and clearly communicated the issues and repair work throughout. He did a great job fixing our leaking faucet and we appreciate his care for our home to not track in dirt/mud from outside and the cleanup afterwards. Zachary was very knowledgeable and provided us with helpful tips for maintenance. Zachary deserves a 5 star rating for his work, but am giving Woodfin an overall 4 star rating due to pricing which is on the higher end.
