  Their techs are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, etc. No issues with them. My only complaint is with the company policy of not giving you a window of time the tech will arrive. They send multiple reminders of the upcoming appointment, which is helpful, but no window. I waited at my home all morning, not hearing a thing, until I finally called to complain, and they then said I was next on the list. The tech came an hour later. I don’t know why they can’t look at the days schedule in the morning and then shoot a text informing you of an approximate window of when the tech may arrive. That would be better than not knowing.

  I called your office to get and estimate about having my hot water heater flushed. Branden Davis was the plumber that ce to my home. What I really appreciated was that before he even entered my home he put on his shoe covers. He was very informative about things that I didn't know about my water heater. He showed me the quote to have my water heater flushed and what it would cost to have it replaced. He also emailed me the information. Branden answered my questions and then some. would want Branden to come back to my home if I needed a plumber. He is a very down to earth and respectful young man. Thank you Branden.

  We have been receiving HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical services from James River since 2015. Every single technician that has been at our home has been professional and thorough. We’ve not had any callbacks for issues that weren’t resolved the first time. Today was no different. James Creighton came out for a plumbing issue with our main sewer line. He diagnosed the issue quickly and resolved it. He worked hard, even in this heat. He was very professional. Great work James!

  One does not plan for systems in our homes to fail however, in one week I have had not just one, but two that needed to be addressed. I have had the pleasure of meeting John, a technician with James River specializing in HVAC who did incredible diagnostic work. He tackled a situation that, to me looked extremely complicated, with an impressive level of competence. I also within the same week have had another phenomenal technician named Joseph who easily navigated two plumbing issues that I needed help with. He made sure to take time to explain exactly what was going on, especially with my water heater, making certain that I had a comprehensive idea of what was needed for repair and maintenance thereafter. Both technicians went above and beyond, were exceedingly professional, and when they left, I knew that I had zero to be concerned about because their work is impeccable. As a dedicated customer of James River Air And Heat for many many years. I have never had anything but praise for every technician who has come into my home to diagnose repair or replace any, and all of my plumbing heating and cooling needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough..

From the moment we scheduled our appointment, their team communicated clearly and kept us informed every step of the way. The entire process was professional, efficient, and customer-focused. Our technician, Sam Wiley, was outstanding. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the reason we were experiencing issues with our cooling system. Rather than simply making the repair, Sam walked us through what was causing the problem and detailed the steps he took to diagnose and fix it. His expertise and willingness to answer questions gave us a lot of confidence that the issue was resolved correctly.
