  Wow! What can I say about their impressive performance. Always on time, excellent work, resolved our issue and they got our A/C up and running as promised. Matthew was so confident and so nice. Such friendly service! You can’t beat them!

  I called today at 12:30 and by 2:30 I already had someone out here. My technician was Matthew and he was extremely professional and explained everything to me in barney terms coupled with pictures. 10/10 service and was done by 4pm. Fully recommend this company.

  Tech was on time, shoe covers in hand to protect my floors, explained everything he was doing, cleaned up behind himself, and completed the service in a timely manner. I've been using Hutton for my heating and AC needs for several years, and have always had pretty much the same experience, so this is company culture and not just luck of the draw for whoever shows up.

  Recently had a service performed on our 5 year old HVAC system on July 15th. Technician was professional and knowledgeable. He performed his checks - normal refrigerant levels, no over amperages on components in the condensor unit signaling system is normally operating. Fast forward two days and HVAC system isn't keeping up with external/ambient temps. Keep in mind, thermostat is set normally at the house at 72 degrees. Saturday morning, July 18th, wake up and it's a pleasant 82 degrees in the house at 7am. Check the thermostat, drain lines, and fan is running on condenser. My wife calls Hutton to get service or repair again. She speaks with Ms. Alice and the response is that noone is available until following Monday or so. I get it... business is busy in July. We end up contacting another company and tech comes out same day and troubleshooting results: compressor is faulty. He ends up helping transport window units and a portable unit we purchased form Lowes. He also handled the warranty process which took a few days due to parts and repairs. Fast forward two days on Monday, July 20th, I received a phone call from Ms. Alice to confirm a service window for 12-2pm. I explained our situation and her response was just "So you don't need the service appointment?" Maybe I'm unrealistic with current times, but a little concern goes a long way especially that we have been on a maintenance contract with Hutton the last few years (the second service wasn't performed in 2025 either). Maybe the business model has changed there, but to advertise or have claims such as: - "Treat Every Customer like Our Reputation Depends on It. 'Cause It Does" -"Customer service is our top priority" -"Hutton provides comprehensive same-day HVAC and indoor air quality services to the Hampton Roads and Norfolk areas" -"Same-day & 24/7 emergency services available" The company should look to update the website because I would definitely dispute those claims. It's become common occurrence that as companies grow, lacking investment and concern for customer base tends to decline.

  Scheduled appointment from 10-12. Confirmed day before. Hutton called wanting to come earlier but I wasn’t available until 10 so they just decided not to show up at all. I had to call them to see why they didn’t show 10-12. I was told since I wasn’t available earlier, now I’ll have to wait till they have time to come by. Very unprofessional. They must have bought their high Google reviews.
