  CONNOR WILBORNE and his co-worker Davin worked on the HVAC replacement and installation for my house. Our old HVAC was more than 20 years old and did not perform well. Connor and Davin showed up at my door early in the morning. I was very impressed with how quickly the new system got installed. They tested the new HVAC system after the new system was installed to make sure it works fine。 They came back later around 7 pm in the evening after they learned from the other new installation they did that day that there was something needs to be done for my new HVAC. After they completed the work, they answered all the questions my husband I had made sure we understood how the new dual fuel system works。 The next day we noticed that there was a new alarm notification showed up in our thermostat panel, Herman Allen sent AARON PORTOR and his co-worker to our house immediately and fixed the issue. Aaron explained to us the root cause and even assisted us setup the thermostat the way we wanted. I am giving all these technicians a five star rating. They are very knowledgeable and very polite.   Tyler is the best! We had an AC issue that needed a quick fix, and Tyler couldn’t have been better, all around. Under short notice, he remained in tune with our needs, and remained highly engaged throughout the entire process. If you have an HVAC issue, you would be lucky to have Tyler L. on the job.   This was our second gas water heater installation by Herman Allen Plumbing, and both installations were performed by friendly and professional teams. This latest installation was arranged by the very knowledgeable Roger, and then conducted the next day by Dalton. Dalton’s team worked carefully and efficiently, and the guys were both friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We are very pleased with their work and with Herman Allen in general for their fast response to our need for a water heater replacement. Highly recommend this company.

  I have learned to call Herman and Allen Plumbing whenever I need plumbing work services. On May 4, 2026, the technician (Jeremy Covington and his partner) arrived on time to flush out my hot water heater and change my water filter. Jeremy has performed work at my home several times and each time his work is excellent. He is very knowledgeable of his work.

  I had Herman Allen come inspect a pipe with a tiny leak in my attic. They charge $150 for an initial diagnostic, which is fine, because they mentioned it will come off of the final bill if I use them for the work. Once the technician inspected my leak he said it should take under an hour to fix and then I was shocked to hear the estimate of $675. Asking what makes up that price he said “it’s fixed” and not hourly, and I was paying for his “expertise” and use of a $2000 piece of equipment. My mechanic uses equipment that cost much more than that and they aren’t asking me to help them pay for a large portion of it every time I go. As far as his expertise goes, he asked me where my main water shutoff was and I told him what side of the house and relative vicinity. He just used a broken box cutter to try to find the main water shutoff, but couldn’t find it so had to leave. Didn’t have any other tools to help uncover the shutoff. The city came out and found the shutoff in mins. Surprised the expert plumber had no other methods for finding the shutoff. He also told me he’d have to leave or charge me another $150 for another hour, even though the work he wanted to charge me for is supposedly not hourly. I got another plumber to come out and do the work in about 20 mins for $150.
