  We have partnered with Sun Design for three major renovations over the last six years, and they have consistently exceeded our expectations. They first transformed our kitchen and main floor in 2020, followed by a full basement remodel in 2022, and most recently, our bathrooms in 2025. In an industry where delays and overages are common, Sun Design is a rare find. Every project was completed on time and exactly on budget. The quality of the craftsmanship is top-tier, but what truly sets them apart is their long-term commitment to their clients. They stand by their work and have been more than willing to come back and address minor issues years after a project is finished. If you want a stress-free experience and professional results, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  We especially liked that Sun Design coordinated all project elements, from initial design through construction and completion, while always consulting with us to ensure the outcome reflected our preferences. Their employees were hardworking, personable, and responsive, and their high quality of work and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. Additionally, their trade partners were very competent and thorough in their work. The design team members were exceptional at translating our ideas into options for us to consider and worked with us throughout to achieve our vision. Likewise, during the construction phase the onsite crew consistently developed solutions that produced excellent results.

  We hired Sun Design to remodel our kitchen and build a screen porch on the back of our house. The finished products have been fantastic and we love our spaces. The pictures in their portfolio of the Built in Breakfast Nook and Vaulted Ceiling Porch show how wonderful the final product has been. The construction part was as smooth as possible, especially considering the pandemic hit 2/3 of the way through the project. They got everything in the kitchen usable and then came back when we were more comfortable with people in the house. We really appreciate that.

  Sun Design has done many projects on my house, beginning with a sun room in 2001. Based on that excellent experience, I hired Sun Design to remodel my basement in 2008 and my kitchen in 2012. They have also remodeled my master bathroom. On all projects, they listened carefully to what I wanted and followed through on it in creative designs, with options for me to choose from. The Sun Design staff is a joy to work with. They communicate well and they listen. The results are beautiful, with great attention to detail.
