The people I dealt with were friendly and courteous, but the work was below standard. I hired them for $2900 to find a leaking copper pipe that was under our concrete floor, then run new PEX pipe to the kitchen island sink. This required them to dig up parts of the concrete floor and cut several holes in the drywall in our ceiling and walls. The big issue is that the PEX was installed in a way that was sure to cause future issues. As you can see from the pictures, they had to cut studs and top plates to make space to run the PEX. The problem is that they just covered the gaps with sharp edged steel nail plates to span the holes and keep the PEX in place. As water runs through the pipes, the pipes will move and rub against the sharp edges, which would have eventually worn through the pipes and caused another leak behind our walls. I contacted Marines Service Co and spoke to a woman who said she would forward it to the manager, but I never heard back. Because the drywallers were coming the following day, I had to contact another plumber who charged another $300 to properly protect the PEX. The lesser issue was that they didn't cover anything in plastic before digging concrete or cutting up the drywall. This meant that everything in our kitchen was covered in a thick layer of dust. To be fair, I didn't talk to them about this ahead of time, but every other time someone has worked on our house (which unfortunately has been several) they have covered furniture and countertops, and walled off the work area with plastic sheets, then cleaned up after themselves when they were done. This seems like it would be a no-brainer for a professional service company, but they should at least tell people up front that the customer is responsible for preventing and cleaning up the worker's messes. I also wish they had talked to me when they found the junction box behind the drywall (which only had wires for the thermostat). I would have been happy to move it for them so they could have run the PEX straight down the wall instead of cutting two more holes in another stud to run it through and back again.

We recently had our dream home built, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Marine Service and the incredible team that helped bring our vision to life. A special thank you to Tom, our Contract Manager, who expertly coordinated every aspect of the build. He kept everything organized, communicated clearly throughout the process. His dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail were instrumental in making our dream home a reality. We would also like to recognize Vic, who handled all of the electrical work. The plumber who came to my house, was great. Very friendly and good customer service. New Disposal seems to be working just fine. I had mentioned that i needed a new garbage disposal to the dispatcher and they said the plumber would have one on hand. The plumber didn't arrive with one of the right size on the truck which delayed / prolonged service. The quote was at the high end of the price range of what the internet said a disposal of this size would cost me in my general region. But since i have been happy with this company in the past and have used them before i went ahead with it.

Marines Service Co. did a great job with my latest service, replacing my electric meter base. I was informed of what was happening every step of the way and was invited to ask questions and to look at the work at every stage. Both technicians were polite and respectful and knew their stuff. Highly recommend!

We'd gotten 3 estimates to replace a ceiling fan and stairwell fixture. Marines had the lowest bid and after we looked at previous reviews decided they were our best option. James arrived on time and started getting things ready while he waited for an assistant. Once the fan was put together James got it installed and then proceeded to remove the old stairway fixture. He installed the new fixture and then they cleaned up everything. Payment was done right at the house. Marines does charge a 3% fee to use credit card but also accepts checks. We paid, James emailed need s receipt and they were out the door and on to the next job. The next time we need electrical work done, Marines is our first call.
