  I had three different service calls and Mary was great in coordinating them. Andrew was great in resolving a very stubborn plumbing problem! His thoroughness, knowledge, kindness, and persistence paid off! Gabriel quickly resolved my electrical issues. Angel evaluated my AC and performed necessary repairs. All three employees were kind, positive, knowledgeable, and performed their jobs exceptionally well with great customer service! Highly recommend them and Beacon!

  Would not recommend this company to anyone. I spoke to two people at the company. I scheduled service with an 8 am to 4 pm window. I was told that the tech would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. At around 3:30 pm no one had arrived or called. When I reached out to the company, the employee I spoke to said there was no service for me in the schedule. I wasted an entire day waiting on a company that can’t even execute. The information for my address and phone number were in their system. However, they did have anything in the schedule. I can only describe this as incompetent service. Ridiculous. And, I found this company on Angie’s List.

  Moved into a new house built in the 80s and asked Beacon to come out and make recommendations on electrical improvement for safety. Ultimately, they sold me on $12k of work to upgrade my electrical panels with new standard (not GFCI or arcfault) breakers, which I was unaware of at the time. The house still has no GFCI protection in the kitchen, bathrooms, or outdoors and I'm still out $12k, but I guess I have some nice new panels. Tried to work with beacon to resolve and they were generous enough to quote me $3k for replacing 18 outlets with GFCIs. I will do the work myself and will not be working with beacon going forward.

  Everything was great, executed with care and skill. Dustin, the Master Electrician who came to the house was very thoughtful and thoroughly explained his estimate. His work was well thought out, using safety procedures, and executed efficiently. Courtney, who had set up the service for today (Monday) after the original schedule on Friday slipped beyond the window of time I could work with, was awesome 👌! She listened attentively to all that i shared with her about the weight of the fixture and the site condition, a chandelier over the bottom of a staircase with a ceiling 17'10" high. She planned it out to have the Electrician come as first appointment, and to have the second person standing by to come assist as needed. I am well pleased with the service, the team, and the end result!

  I scheduled an appointment with this company well in advance and received multiple confirmations leading up to the service date, including communications shortly before the appointment itself. What was most disappointing was not that the appointment had to be rescheduled, but how the situation was handled. The day before the appointment, I spent additional time answering questions and providing information about the home and project. Looking back, it seems clear the company was already experiencing scheduling issues, yet no one communicated that there was a significant risk my appointment would not be honored. On the day of service, I continued receiving updates suggesting there was still a possibility a technician would arrive. As a result, I kept my schedule clear and remained available. Only after the scheduled day had effectively passed was I informed that the appointment would need to be rescheduled. I understand that unexpected delays happen and that service businesses occasionally need to adjust schedules. However, asking customers to reserve an entire day, continuing to engage them in the appointment process, and then canceling at the last minute because the company is “very busy” is not a professional way to manage scheduling. I cannot comment on the quality of the electrical work because no work was ever performed. My experience was limited to the scheduling and communication process, which unfortunately left me feeling that my time was not respected.
