  Paid Floor Show to do flooring, countertop and backsplash installation. Ron, DJ and everybody on the flooring side of the job were awesome communicators, gave us realistic timelines, and worked well on the job. Complete opposite of the experience we had with our countertops and backsplash installation. We had the opportunity to shop around other places, but chose go with the Floor Show for our counters and backsplash because they assured us they could easily meet our deadline to have this done before our move-in date. Discussed whether the sink would be a drop-in in detail with the person who came to template counters. Decided to do a drop-in to conserve limited space under the counter. They installed our sink as an under mount. When I called the shop, the only solution they offered was cutting our sink out of the stone, which was completely out of the question considering our deadline. Now I’m stuck with an undermount sink because we didn’t want to risk breaking what they’ve already installed. We were told we’d be sent a refund after this, but still haven’t received it. My girlfriend also discussed tiling behind our fridge when doing the backsplash with Anthony during measurements. They did not order enough tile for behind our fridge, so we told the installer not to worry about it- just tile behind the countertops. Installer has run out of tile. Can’t even finish the abridged version of the job with the amount they ordered in. Floor Show’s response was basically “it happens”. It doesn’t happen if you know what you’re doing. It didn’t happen with flooring because they ordered enough for our job with extra left over. TLDR: great for flooring. Avoid completely for backsplash and countertop work. At this point I would like to hire somebody else to finish the job, but I’ve already paid Floor Show the full amount. Nobody from the store will even call me back to update me on the status of this tile job.

  Piedmont did our carpet last week and our hardwood (vinyl plank) 5 years ago. Both experiences were fantastic! Excellent communication, professionalism and top notch installation.
