Recycling Center
The Harrisonburg Recycling Convenience Center is open to any resident of the City of Harrisonburg. The Recycling Convenience Center offers recycling of #1 & #2 Plastics, Aluminum beverage cans, glass, office paper, tin cans, plastic bags, cardboard, mixed paper, household batteries, and office paper. You can also bring bulk items, scrap metal, and yard debris to the Recycling Convenience Center for disposal. We ask that you pre-sort your empty, clean and dry recycling items. Contamination is the number 1 reason for rejection of items by our recycling partners.
