  Very disappointed with the quality of the work and the lack of follow-up. This company paved our driveway in 2023. Drainage and water flow were known issues and were actually noted on the contract. Our driveway slopes downhill toward the garage, so proper grading and drainage were extremely important. When the driveway was initially paved, the asphalt was brought up even with the garage floor, allowing rainwater to run directly into the garage. The company came back and cut into our brand-new asphalt to install a white drainage channel across a black asphalt driveway. Besides being very unattractive and conspicuous, cutting into the new pavement left obvious patched areas. Worse, the drainage problem still was not corrected. Every time we have a heavy rain, water comes into the garage. I have been putting beach towels behind the garage doors to try to keep it out. Recently, enough water backed into the garage that some of the props stored in my studio were soaked. After dealing with this since 2023, I finally decided I had had enough. What makes the lack of response particularly frustrating is that just a couple of weeks before I contacted the company about having this corrected, one of their representatives came to our home trying to sell us a topcoat for the driveway. I personally showed him the staining on the garage floor caused by rainwater coming in and explained the problem. He offered no assistance or solution. I then contacted the company through its website with a written request asking them to come out, inspect the drainage problem, and correct it. I received no response. I have since called once a week for the past three weeks. Each time I have spoken with someone and have been told that someone would come out. Three weeks of promises, and no one has shown up. I don’t think a homeowner should have to line the inside of the garage with beach towels during heavy rain because of a driveway that was supposed to have been properly graded and professionally paved, especially when the water-flow issue was documented on the company’s own contract. I am still giving this company the opportunity to stand behind its work and correct the problem. If they do, I will gladly update this review. Until then, based on both the workmanship and the lack of response, I cannot recommend them.

  Billy and his team did an outstanding job on my 30-year-old driveway! They completely removed the old asphalt, dug down to the original base, and leveled everything perfectly. They also extended the culvert seamlessly and added dirt so it blended in like it was always there. Six weeks later, they came back and laid a beautiful new driveway. It turned out so well that my neighbors actually stopped to admire it! Phenomenal work at a great price from a local family business. I'm extremely happy with the results and highly recommend them.

  This is the company I recommend for doing any asphalt work. They honored their cost estimate, even though they needed to do additional work. Otto and Bill are very reliable and I have the highest integrity. It is so refreshing to deal with such a company like O Cooper Paving.
