  We have been a satisfied customer of Chandler's for years, calling on them for miscellaneous boiler, gas line, and thermostat work. I've given them 5-star reviews and recommended them to many friends and neighbors. However, I will not be using them anymore and advise you to consider a different company for your HVAC needs. Recently I called them out to troubleshoot a Mr. Cool mini-split unit on my porch that appeared low on refrigerant (was not producing cold enough air). A $500 leak test later and we discovered a very small (took 3 years for it to even affect cooling) leak at a coupler joint in the lineset. I had the Mr. Cool instruction manual out and advised the technician that the manual states to only tighten specific joints/nuts. Instead, he tightened ones that were NOT supposed to be tightened, re-tested it and despite some indications from a leak detector that there was still a problem (actually, an even bigger leak indication than before), proclaimed that the problem was now solved. "This is not leaking anymore" were his exact words. He chalked it up to an erratic leak detection device. An additional $200 later to recharge the lineset with refrigerant and the cooling performance was restored. He advised that if the issue happens again, we need to remove the coupler completely from the lineset and braze a solid section of copper pipe on. He warned me this was likely to cost many hundreds of dollars more, but at least we could avoid further leak detection and diagnostic fees because we had already identified the location of the issue. Less than 3 days later, the cooling issue/leak was back. I called to make an appointment for them to come back, stated that we knew what the issue was and even knew the fix, but requested that they waive the $145 diagnostic fee because of what had already transpired with the previous appointment. I was given an appointment for a technician to come out but told that supervisor approval would be needed to waive the diagnostic fee. At least I had a quick appointment that I knew would fix the problem permanently. About an hour later, I received a phone call notifying me that they had canceled my service appointment because "we don't work on that kind of equipment", which is obviously not at all true based on all the work they had already charged me $700 for. The irony is that I was fully willing to pay for the coupler-to-solid-copper brazing work and even knew it would be expensive. I just didn't feel it fair to pay another diagnostic fee. Instead of getting more of my business and retaining me as a loyal customer, they've lost me to competitors.

  Yajerson repaired our HVAC system which needed a deep clean and some parts replaced after recent renovations. He communicated clearly and patiently answered our questions. Thank you Yajerson and Chandler!

  love this business! they were quick to come out (and it was so nice being able to schedule over text) and were very thorough with all the issues in my old home. the tech was able to get more info about the water setup in my building and gave me great notes to give to my HOA for the maintenance that i need to request from them. highly recommend!

  I can only give 2 stars as I am waiting for the job of my sink to be finished. It appears that the plumber snapped the pea trap pipe and now I am 1 week waiting to be called when part comes in. Until then, I have a non working bathroom sink. I'm hoping to have it resolved soon and be able to give an updated review. ***Update-Chad reviewed my work order and helped with another request to replace 2 outdoor bibs (spigots). He was quick and responsive with my job concern. He also added the military discount, which Chandler's has that not too many businesses do. Yesterday the final work was completed, Max was sent to do the job. He and his work was AWESOME! He even needed to get more materials to complete it, and made sure the water was back on for me to use. He was back quick and completed the work. He explained and showed me all the new shut off valves for the new installed bibs (spigots), etc. and made sure I understood. Thank you!
