- RCRex CoxJun 7, 20264.0Edit: I was contacted by Jenson mechanical and was told they did in fact revise my quote. I went back and checked my SPAM folder and sure enough found it there. For that reason, I changed my review to 4 stars. My apologies for the confusion. Poor communication. I requested a quote to install a/c in a house I was renovating. The owner came out and walked me thru what my options were. I was interested in doing separate systems for the upstairs and downstairs (mini split for upstairs) and he was recommending a single unit to do both. I requested a quote to do it both ways because I had concerns about temperature variations in the upstairs and downstairs when using a single unit. He promised me a quote to do it both ways in a few days. After a week or so, I had not received a quote so I called the office and requested the quote(s). When the quote finally came via e-mail, it was for the single unit only. I again reached out to the office for a quote to do downstairs only and I responded to the email quote requesting the same. That was on May 15th. Today is June 7th and I have yet to hear back from them, even if nothing more than to say they were not interested in doing my job. I have since found another contractor that verified my concerns about temperature variations using a single unit and has provided me with a very reasonable quote and assurances that my way the correct way to proceed. Although I cannot speak to the quality of their work, their communication with customers leaves a lot to be desired.
