  I rented from this landlord- Roy Askew, who also runs Askew’s Roofing Solutions, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience at move-out. Before I left, Roy told me over the phone that I would receive my full $600 security deposit back as long as I thoroughly cleaned my bedroom and bathroom and removed items from the kitchen that did not belong to me or my roommate. I swept and mopped my bedroom/bathroom as requested and threw away the kitchen items he asked me to remove. I unintentionally threw away his pet medication that had been stored in the kitchen cabinets. I apologized sincerely multiple times, and he acknowledged the mistake and Roy clearly told me over a phone call that I would still receive my $600 security deposit. Despite this, the deposit was never returned to me, and he blocked my phone number instead of communicating with me. I found this behavior extremely unprofessional and dishonest, especially given the assurance he made me over the phone. As a younger renter, this experience has been very hurtful and has left me feeling taken advantage of. Especially after I had just lost my job during COVID and had nowhere to go live. I am still open to resolving this situation and would be willing to update or remove this review once my $600 security deposit is returned. Thank you, Roy.   Employees are trash and can’t drive. I almost crashed with my infant son in the car because the entitled inconsiderate driver ran me off the road. Their roofs probably suck too
