  Update: Although I was completely satisfied with Window World Staff and Installers for windows, I have removed 2 stars because their subcontractor for garage door installation (Door Pro America) was a complete disaster. In fact, I don't know why Window World associates with this inferior company? Nobody from Door Pro America ever communicated with me in the time leading up the installation. I had to call 5 times to find out the status of the order and when it would be installed. When I was finally told a firm date, I was also told someone would call me on the day of the installation one hour prior to arrival- nobody called. When the garage door installer did arrive, he was unaware that a lock was included in the contract, and I had to email someone at the central office copies of the agreement. They said they would need to come back another day to install the lock. Although I was told to be home and available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the garage door installation didn’t even begin until after 4 p.m. The installer appeared exhausted and unmotivated and then had to wait for another worker to arrive around 5:30pm before finishing the job around 6:30pm. The work was rushed, and the problems were obvious immediately. The door was not flush with the wall or floor, the seals were poorly installed, and the garage door would not open all the way. I reported these issues right away to the same person I sent the contract too, but after multiple follow-ups, I received no response. After several complaints to Window World (who subcontracted with Door Pro America) a manager from Door Pro America (Brad Kelly) finally called me Friday afternoon. He apologized and promised a professional and seasoned installer would arrive Monday morning between 8 a.m. and noon to redo the poor installation and add the lock and handle. I rearranged my work schedule and stayed home Monday morning waiting for the installer, but once again, no one showed up and no one called. At this point, I have wasted two full workdays dealing with Door Pro America’s disorganization, lack of communication, poor workmanship, and complete disregard for their customers’ time. Original Post: I highly recommend Window World of Washington DC! After getting multiple bids, Window World stood out not only for having the best price, but also for being the most responsive and professional. Henry Valle was exceptional from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns while providing clear, honest information. Unlike some other vendors, his quotes were straightforward and free of gimmicks or high-pressure sales tactics. Over several weeks, I went back and forth with Henry many times requesting additional information and making small changes to the agreement, and he was always responsive, organized, professional, and helpful. For this project, I ordered 11 windows, shutters, a front door and storm door, a sliding glass door, and a garage door. Henry stayed in touch throughout the entire process leading up to installation and made sure all of my questions were answered. I also want to highly commend Elmer Barillas and his installation team. They arrived on time, completed the entire installation in just one day, and did phenomenal work. Elmer kept me informed throughout the installation, explaining what the crew was doing and ensuring everything was completed to a high standard. He went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the final product. Everything looks beautiful! From my initial phone call through project completion, every interaction with Window World was courteous, competent, and professional. I will absolutely use them again for future projects like roofing, siding, and doors, and I would highly recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.
