  In May 2026, I researched and consulted with 5 NOVA wood stores to replace all my hardwood on my main level 1600 sq ft total (Herndon, Ashburn, Sterling, Reston, and Chantilly). K&K Floor was the most professional from the first encounter with Angela in the storefront, to James So who promptly visited our home for measurements and was the project manager (from the beginning to the end). A special thanks to Misael, Jose, Brian, and Christian who were a pleasure to have in our home and who did an excellent job with the installation of our new hickory floors, removal of the old oak, and moving our breakables/heavy furniture. K&K exceled in a few areas (1) measurements were the most accurate. I was quoted up to 500 sq feet more by other companies who even used lasers and drew sketches of my rooms. James measured spot on with his measuring tape and a few notes. At the end, I was left with exactly 2 1/2 boxes and I requested those 2 additional boxes. (2) James was the only person who took note of the diagonal direction of my old hardwood and calculated the necessary overage for those areas. (3) James was extremely professional answering all my questions in person, on the phone, and via text promptly and honestly. He communicated extremely well (as a lawyer, I can tell you his quote & contract were the most thorough). James even visited on the Memorial Day holiday to ensure the new wood was delivered properly. (4) James offered the best square footage price for the exact same Canadian Wickham brand solid hickory (several $s less than competitors). Also, K&K was the only store that could get the wood quickly from a West Virginia supplier...rather than wait to get it from Canada. (5) James supported my wish to have the wood acclimate in our home for nearly 2 weeks before installation, and he scheduled work for my desired dates in early June. We are extremely pleased with our decision to choose K&K. Overall, the best communication, best price, and superb installation. I intend to use them again for my next carpet project. Do yourself a favor and get a quote from K&K and James before making your decision.

  The whole process from Patrick coming to our house to measure and talk about the products, to our visit to the showroom to find the right flooring, to the great experience we had with the installation crew has been outstanding! The final product is fantastic and we are K&K Floor fans!

  From my wife’s initial showroom visit, to the in-home appointment with the project manager, thru purchasing, scheduling, and installation everything with K&K Floor’s replacement of our home’s upstairs carpeting was efficient, professional, and customer-focused. Project manager James So was particularly knowledgeable and helpful, prompt in replying to calls, emails, and texts, and flexible in accommodating our schedules. Installers Jose and Martin were very hardworking and respectful. Showed up on time and stayed late to ensure everything was just right. A great experience for us from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend the K&K team to our friends and neighbors in NOVA for custom flooring needs.

  I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is in need of new hardwood floors. The service was excellent, very knowledgeable of his skills. Very polite and friendly I’m very grateful for my new beautiful floors.
