  Simranjit performed the yearly inspection and tune up of both of my air conditioner systems. He was thorough, professional and briefed me in detail at the end of the inspection. He found a capacitor on the outside compressor which needed to be replaced and did so quickly. I was pleased with the level of service provided by Simranjit and would gladly have him return for future inspections.

  Rafael Flores showed up promptly, listened to my description of the problem we had regarding our HVAC unit and quickly made an assessment. He found the unit to be in good condition and it was not the problem. Instead, he suggested a simple household fix of cleaning the PVC drainage line. I got some Clorox and white vinegar and we flush that through. Two weeks later it seems to have solved the problem. That’s something even an all-thumbs homeowner like myself can take care of in the days ahead. I think I paid less than $70 for the visit as part of the annual service agreement I have.

  My technician, Ghulam, arrived on time and completed the water heater service requested very quickly. He was courteous and knowledgeable about the work to be done. He noted items that I did not see prior to making the appointment that would have resulted in a future problem. Items such as oxidation on fittings as well as rust noted going into the top of the water heater. I authorized the replacements and he also noted a discharge pipe on the water heater that was not to code when the unit was installed 7 years ago...this item was also replaced. An outstanding job by Ghulam and Michael and Sons.

  Hi Justin, Thank you for the outstanding home inspection you performed today. I truly appreciate the time you took to thoroughly inspect our home and explain everything so clearly. Your professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail were exceptional. I especially appreciated your recommendations regarding our 21-year-old water heater and sump pump, along with your clear explanations of why replacing them is a good idea. You were patient, personable, and never made us feel rushed. It’s not often you meet someone who takes such pride in their work, and it really showed.   Michael & Son made an initial visit to our home for an evaluation to do a repair on our attic fan. They were extremely professional and thorough in their assessment. They were able to schedule our first appointment without much delay. It was however a not as comfortable of a service call as I would have liked as Michael & Son pivoted rapidly to trying to convince us to get an HVAC annual contract. That had nothing to do with our repair, yet the focus of the visit was highly centered on the up-sell. I've never had that pressure dealing with other NOVA electrician companies in the past.
