Let me start by saying that the team has been very nice, responsive, and professional throughout this process, especially Mr. Tony. Unfortunately, our experience with the construction quality of the home has been extremely disappointing.
We have been in the house for only two months, and problems started almost immediately after we moved in. The flooring began making loud squeaking/cracking sounds when we walked on it, and the middle section of the staircase felt unsafe and concerning to step on. We also experienced issues with the pantry wall and flooring, which required additional attention.
Within the first month, we also began having problems with the AC system. Going through August without a properly functioning cooling system was extremely stressful and uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. We discovered moisture on the ceiling between the first floor bed room and the bathroom ceiling developed significant mold. Repairs required cutting into the ceiling, walls, and flooring. Because of the repeated construction and repair work, we have had to move furniture, protect our belongings, and clean the house after workers leave multiple times.
The amount of personal time, disruption, and time off work that we have lost because of these repairs has been overwhelming.
We have also had an ongoing issue with the front door. There is a noticeable gap allowing air and water to enter the house during rainy weather. We reported this issue about a month ago, and it still has not been properly resolved. Having to continuously dry the area whenever it rains is extremely frustrating.
On top of everything, our energy bills have been significantly higher than expected, which has added to the frustration.
We purchased a brand-new home expecting quality construction, reliability, and peace of mind. Instead, we have spent the first two months dealing with one construction-related issue after another. At this point, I honestly regret purchasing this home and wish we had known about these problems before making such a major investment.
I truly appreciate the kindness and responsiveness of the team, especially Mr. Tony, but unfortunately, good customer service cannot make up for poor construction quality. A brand-new home should not require this level of repair and disruption within the first few months of ownership.
I sincerely hope the builder takes these concerns seriously and improves the quality-control and construction process for future homeowners.
