  Michael Madrid replaced my bathroom sink faucet and somehow made plumbing look attractive. 😏 Professional, fast, and clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. Everything works perfectly, he cleaned up afterward, and the whole experience was surprisingly stress-free. If every handyman looked and worked like Michael, I’d start inventing house problems just to call again. Highly recommend!

  This company is completely dishonest. They promise to install an original, high‑quality thermostat, but instead they swap it out for a cheap $300 unit and then charge $1,300 for it. Their business practices are deceptive, unethical, and designed to take advantage of customers. Avoid this company at all costs — it’s run by people who have no integrity.

  I have entrusted this company for two decades with all my service needs. Unfortunately, never again. Something has changed fundamentally with this company- I have always been happy to pay professional rates for service, and that isn't cheap- nor should it be. However, this company has completely crossed the line and has become predatory. I had a blower motor fail. This motor, OEM, cost $500.00 retail, shipped to my door, and took 30 min to install. I would happily pay a pro a 4 hour minimum to do this. But this company tried to charge me $2000.00 just to install it. After paying them to do an evaluation and the system coming up perfectly functional besides. Then they tried to tell me I needed an entire system. My current system was installed by them for $6,000.00 and they attempted to upsell me on a new system for $12,000.00 that is unnecessary. I was contacted by M&S as a follow up and explained my frustration and laid out the scenario, giving them an opportunity to make it right. They declined so when I told them I was going to have to do this review, they actually told me that I would be hearing from their legal team! This company is actively taking advantage of customers, I will never hire them again. Do your due diligence and research, and protect yourselves. Edit: I see M&S has a typical bot reply below. I gave them an opportunity to make it right. Then they threatened me. You have me on your books, go ahead and reach out to make it right. I don't believe you at all.

  Please look at their better Business Bureau reviews. If you go on to better Business Bureau you can see that they are not accredited and regularly charge for services not rendered or for jobs not completed. If you have an insurance claim they will charge for things that they have never done. They will quote you one price and then be thousands and thousands over that price and they will always give you the runaround when you ask any questions. I've had service texts call back when I had an issue with their job and it was obvious that they were inebriated and when I confronted them about it they yelled at me. There's never a manager available and they never do anything after hours even though they claim to have emergency services. I had to fight with this company for months over a simple insurance claim. I had to constantly go through and itemized report and find things that were never done that they were charging me for, equipment that they never put in my home that they were charging me for and they assume that the average customer is not going to look into these things and that insurance will just pay out an exorbitant amount. They have predatory business practices and I will not trust them with any job ever again.

  Technician arrived at our home to install an EV charger. Upon arrival he did not ask any introductory questions, he immediately asked where the breaker box was (located in our basement). He proceeded to tell me he was going to have to drill through our entire ceiling across our home to provide install. I explained this was shocking and surprising to me as this had never been the case in the previous 3 homes we where we have had installation. He asked me patronizing and condescending questions regarding amps, Ohms, load testing, and voltage. I explained I wasn’t an electrician and this was why her hired professional help and I did not perform those tests or have that knowledge given I’m not the professional or have the tools to perform such tests. He proceeded to tell me this was the only way for installation to occur. He was frustrated, matter of fact, and continuing to come from a place of “no” instead of listening to my concerns regarding a ceiling construction project I wasn’t understanding the need for. He proceeded to open the EV charger box and told me how “I perform my own installation” if I didn’t want it “his way”. It was at this time I told him I felt the requested job was providing him too much contention and it was clear he didn’t understand what I was asking. He rudely dismissed my concerns. I then asked him to leave my property. No work was completed. We have used Michael & Sons for various things and this is the first time I’ve encountered one of their employees act disrespectful, and unprofessional. We’ve always received outstanding service. After this experience, I would never ask this company to come back and perform electrical inquiries or jobs again after dealing with this employee.
