  Update: The estimate was sent over a few days after we’re expecting them. The estimate looked very reasonable. We had already decided to go with another carpet store by the time we received the estimate. Based on other favorable reviews, had we gone with Carpet Land I think the install would have been good. We went into Carpet Land hoping to be done with our carpet purchase/installation search. The sales person Ben seemed to be helpful and the prices seemed reasonable. We mentioned we had measurements from another carpet service provider which he said if we could provide those measurements to him, he could workup an estimate the next morning. We mentioned we were on a tight deadline for installation when we spoke in the store. Unfortunately, more than 24 hours later still no estimate and a phone call later he said hadn’t gotten around to it with no mention of when he would have the estimate to us. We don’t understand the change in the level of customer service or the disinterest in assisting us with this 2,000sq ft project. We are continuing our search for a reliable carpet business.

  Revising my previous post to highlight Carpetland's five-star customer service. When Management heard that we were unhappy with our area rug purchase (due to a misunderstanding about the return/exchange policy) all three locations pitched in to quickly find us the right rug at a price we could manage. We even ended up purchasing a small second rug for another room. It's nice to do business locally and work face to face with people who care about the outcome.

  Carpetland was great from start to finish. John the salesman explained everything to us and gave us a quote taht was literally half as much as a competitor for a similar carpet. Francisco did an awesome job installing the carpet. His team came on time, installed the carpet profesisonally, even matched the carpet metal straps to the door handles. He also answered all of our questions and was able to cut up a piece of our old carpet to use in a different room.
