- MSMike SpilmanDec 27, 20211.0Technician told us we needed major repairs, $3800 worth. Second opinion showed that the "heat exchanger crack" that was such a big deal, is a common failure with my furnace and that the heat exchanger isn't actually cracked but it's the piece that's rolled around the edge of the exchanger. We were told by the Just Right technician that our furnace was being CONDEMNED and he would not turn it back on. He argued with my wife about us turning the furnace back on. Which, I understand why the company would tell them not to turn it back on (CO2 poisoning) but, there really wasn't anything wrong with our furnace and it was 30 degrees outside. Very, very unprofessional technician. DO NOT TRUST JUST RIGHT, please get a second and third opinion before getting anything repaired or replaced. Sorry, we've used Just Right in the past, several times, and have been very happy with the work they do, this may have been a one off with this particular technician. Maybe he needs some customer centricity training and remedial training for diagnostics. Also, this company was great at one time, when it was smaller, it's grown a lot and with that growth the company has declined and can't be trusted. Just my opinion, I'm sure others are very happy. One good thing, they did not charge us for the visit.
