  Frank and Josh are fantastic. About a week ago, my water heater started slowly leaking from the bottom. I called another plumbing company, which shall remain nameless, to have it checked out, and they said it needed to be replaced because the bottom had rusted out. That was no surprise to me since it was about 8 years old and I had never maintained it; my mistake. I got quotes from the other plumbing company, and they said a water heater would cost $5,000+ and a tankless option would be $11,000+. Wow, that’s egregious! I paid the other plumber the $70 diagnostic fee and sent them on their way. Then I sent a message to Josh at Benjamin Franklin. He quoted less than half that amount, and they could install it the next morning. Done deal. The next morning, they let me know they would be a little late. I actually appreciated that because I care more about communication than punctuality. My utility room is cramped, so they had to temporarily remove a water softener and some gas pipes to remove the old water heater and install the new one. They completed the installation of the new water heater, added a new expansion tank, and rerouted some pipes within two hours. Now I’m back to warm showers, clean dishes, and a working clothes washer. Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. I will definitely call again and refer my friends. They are friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. If you want, I can also make it sound a little more polished or more natural for a Google review.

  Absolute nightmare of an experience. I was completely at the end of my rope after calling around trying to find someone who could work within my strict, very fixed budget. When I found this company, I was very, very clear about my desperate situation and my hard $150 cap before they even scheduled the visit. They seemed so incredibly nice and promised they were going to help me. I truly thought they were the light at the end of the tunnel.Instead, it was a cruel bait-and-switch. When the tech arrived and I asked for a ballpark estimate, I was brushed off with a vague promise of "not much" and told I’d get a text later.Imagine my absolute shock and devastation when the estimate came back at over $400. How on earth is nearly triple my budget considered "not much"? They knew exactly how vulnerable my situation was, preyed on my trust, and then completely disregarded my limits.To top it all off, the repair was for a simple pump—a part that costs roughly $30. I understand labor costs money, but an astronomical markup like this is predatory price-gouging. They gave me false hope, wasted my time, and tried to rip me off. Do not trust their "nice" act. Avoid this dishonest company at all costs. EDIT!!! This company has reached out again to dispute the facts, so I am updating my review with the exact numbers. Before scheduling, I spoke with them on Friday and made my budget limits completely clear. Because of my mobility issues, I could not get on the roof myself, but I provided the diagnosis upfront for this swamp cooler repair. I was very clear that a sillcock issue had possibly caused the float to become lodged, and may have burnt out the pump. I also said we just replaced the pump in March. I explicitly told them not to come out if my budget was unworkable. They insisted it wouldn't cost much and came out anyway. While the technician was here, I asked him directly to his face what I owed him for coming out, and he explicitly told me, "Nothing." Afterward, I received a text message with the 450.00 quote, and again reiterated my budget for clarification. They made no attempt to resolve the issue or negotiate at that time. It was only after I posted my original, honest review that they called my personal private phone number to pressure me into taking it down. They had every opportunity to communicate professionally earlier, but chose to wait until a public review was posted.To put their pricing into perspective: a standard residential swamp cooler pump costs about $30 to $50 retail at Lowe's. Quoting $450.00 for a pre-diagnosed job that takes 15 to 30 minutes of physical swap time (an hour if inexperienced) means subtracting $50 for the part leaves $400 for labor. That equals an astronomical $13.33 to $26.67 per MINUTE of work (an effective hourly rate of $800 to $1,600/hr). Expecting an exorbitant amount for a simple pump installation is predatory and highly unprofessional. Too little, too late trying to strong arm me into removing the review. You should have struck a FAIR deal from the start.

  These guy where so friendly willing to do over and above for us .they are fixing a main water line.in the yard.made sure we had temp water to the house.Best Company I've worked with.
