Absolutely the worst rental experience I've ever had. They dropped an 8 ton excavator with a hydraulic leak, which I get happens although it would have been nice if they checked their machines before sending them out. The following day they swapped me out for a different 8 ton excavator that couldn't dig a hole more than an inch deep. They sent a JCB mechanic out who admitted that there was definitely a problem but he couldn't find the issue. 2 days wasted at this point. The 3rd day started with them saying the would bring annother 8 ton excavator first thing in the morning. At noon they told me they wouldnt bring annother 8 ton as its "not big enough" to dig through rocky soil. They offered to swap us for a 16 ton machine then changed their mind about it and offered to refund us the full cost. I accepted that and rented an identical 8 ton excavator from All Equip rentals, which worked great and got my job done without issues. Same 8 ton excavator with the same 16in trench bucket, while sunbelts RUDE employees tried to say that I wasn't operating the machine correctly (10 years professional heavy equipment operator). Now after promising a full refund they decided to only refund half. Waiting on getting a call back from their manager about this. Hoping to delete this after the issue is resolved but in the mean time I think its best for people to know the quality of service they will get from this store

Rented a chipper that broke down in the middle of the job. Called their 24/7 number and they sent a service man out on a weekend to get it back up and running. Went out of their way to make sure that my job was done and that I had the equipment to do so. So helpful. I will use them again for sure.
