  Best recycling in the area. Never had a problem dropping off aluminum cans, old bikes and more for recycling.

  I just read a bunch of reviews about MCR and Western Metals in Provo. I have been to MCR over 1000 times and I think they are great. Some times it is busy, some times I am there right at closing, some times there is lots of scrap everywhere and some times it is clean. I have brought lots of bright shinny copper and clean aluminum, I have also brought every variety and quality of aluminum. I have brought huge 20 ton loads and I have brought a few hundred pounds. In a nut shell these guys are not perfect, but they do good work. In my experience they help you get your metal cleaner if you want to take the time, they have helped me unload my trailer, but some times I have just had to do it all on my own. Overall I think they are good people doing a hard job and I like what they do and how they do it.

  Every time I’ve been here I’ve gotten #1 ICW (80-90%) copper but today I went and dropped off 36lbs of 10 AWG THHN and some pieces of 350 KCMIL and they gave me # 2 ICW (45-55%) rip off and should have asked for my copper back. Next time I’ll be driving to salt lake

  I just had some scrap metal (swing set, trampoline, etc) that needed to be tossed so I brought by MCR. Super easy. In and out fast and they pay in cash. It was stuff I otherwise would have just thrown away. Saved a trip to the dump. It was a good way for my kids to get paid for taking apart everything. Kept them entertained for a few hours and they made some money and were thrilled.
