  Bennett Ferrell, with Garage Door Doctors was very thorough in his analysis of the issue with our 12 yr old opener. He identified the issue and quoted a reasonable price for repair. He also provided an opinion on the condition of the opener and indicated that the opener may be nearing its useful live. He provided options for consideration and answered my questions. with information regarding the current opener and the repair that may have been caused by the opener or the lifecycle of the drive belt disintegrating. During the whole process, he continued to provide options for fixing the problem, including the pros and cons for each. I did not interpret as a sale-up discussions. I elected to go with installation of a new opener. He was cautious during the take down of the old to ensure nothing was damaged. His installation of the new including connecting the wires to the door pad and pairing with the automobile. He was very personable, friendly and discussed the pros and cons of repair or replacement. After installation, he insured everything, including the garage door functioned correctly. He replaced the door rollers for me, even after I advised I could do it. I answered a phone call and when I came back he had already installed the rollers without charging me for the installation. As a 23 year old he probably felt sorry for a 76 year old disabled veteran. Or, he’s just a nice kid 😇
