  I had an excellent experience with ROD Plumbing. From the moment I called, their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and got the job done efficiently and with great care. A special shout-out to Juan Alonzo, he did an outstanding job!   Don't waste your time or money with this company. I called for a quote to install a Moen Flo automatic water shutoff valve in my home, and they sent a technician named Juan Alonzo who is unfamiliar with the job. He is confused about the type of water line I have and didn't demonstrate a basic understanding of the differences between PEX-A and PEX-B. He then quoted me $850 in labor alone to cut out a small section of PEX and install the valve—even though I would be providing the Moen Flo device myself. To “justify the price”, he claimed the system would need to be "programmed," but my own research shows that the Moen Flo does not require any special programming during installation. Charging that much for a job that should take well under an hour felt unreasonable and misleading. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a plumber, and STAY FAR AWAY
